Bottom tier is a dummy and top a cake. This was my last cake for my PME course 1
Hi there

PME is a sugarpaste, flower and royal icing course run by the brand pme. The first course is sugarpaste where you learn techniques related to sugarpaste and gumpaste, as well as toppers and modelling, business and cake pricing. You end up with a diploma after each course.

The second one is only flowers and the third is royal icing. If you complete the three of them, you get a master in cake decorating.

Hope this helps :)
This course may not exist outside the UK. I am sorry about that :(

I made this cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. She is obsessed with Sesame Street so it was a perfect fit. The characters are all plastic toys but everything else is fondant.

This is a two tier topsy turvy cake. I tapered the sides and gave the top tier ever so slightly a slope. I was nervous the "Baby" on the top would not be as secure if I really slanted the top. The cake was a 6" and 10" round French Vanilla. Each tier had 3 layers of cake. The cake was covered in BC and MMF. The "Baby" on the top was made with 50/50 gumpaste and MMF. I've never made letters like that before and they turned out okay. Thanks for looking!

With the unusual color scheme, I wasn't sure how this one would turn out. The bride-to-be liked the paisley design she had seen on another cake. It turned out a little better than I thought it might. First time using Tappits. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the letters, gray paisleys and lighter gray stripes were painted lightly with silver dust. Flowers are gumpaste - everything else is fondant.

This was my daughter's boyfriend's birthday cake that I made in just a few hours. Wow...I'm tired after rushing through this one! The LUKE was gumpaste. The cake was vanilla covered in butter cream then covered in fondant. The top tier was multi-colored...rainbow cake. I wish I had a picture of it. It really looked cool! I hope that someone took a picture of after it was cut. The cake was covered with MMF with MMF accents. Luke loved it!

I totally stole this design from someone on here but I dont remember the name. Im so sorry but thank u. Last minute, or last day cake made for a friend. It was a disaster as you can see by the bumpy cake! But she loved it so I still had a smile on my face.

This is a cake that I made just for fun! Electric blue and electric green flowers and stripes are made out of marshmallow fondant. Chocolate marshmallow fondant covers the cake. The dimensions are: Top Tier, 6 inch cake round. Bottom: 8 Inch cake round. Chocolate chip cake with chocolate buttercream.

I am sorry that the pictures uploaded sideways. I turned them upright in iphoto, but they still didn't load correctly.

This cake was a 6" and 8" yellow cake with lime green buttercream frosting. The cake was then covered with MMF. The green bow is a 50/50 mix of MMF and gumpaste. I don't have any fondant alphabet cutouts that were funky enough, so I hand painted with lemon juice and black gel food coloring the name "Brittany". I was pleased with the outcome. I always forget how long it takes me to make the zebra stripes. I individually cut out each piece to fit it's surrounding pieces. It takes a while, but well worth it!!

This was a cake I just love to look at! My friend Tiffany was graduating as an RN and wanted to make her a very special cake. I took some ideas from my brain and inter-twined then with some Cake Central cakes and this is what I came up with. The Cake is 6" and 12" deep chocolate flavored, coated with buttercream frosting, then covered with MMF. The nurse hat, pills and pill bottle w/ lid are made from a 50/50 mix of MMF and gumpaste. The stethoscope is made from a Playdooh press. I have a clay art gun, but couldn't get the right size I needed for it. The needle for the shot is floral wire - just the right thickness. The only decoration that is buttercream is the heart rate around the bottom tier. The metallic parts of the stethoscope and shot is from silver luster dust.

Another hot FL day for this one too. Melting BC is the enemy here in FL. ;-)

This is a 6" round and 8" bottom round cake that is coated in buttercream and covered in MMF. The decorations are also MMF. I had fun making this cake until I accidentally ruined the "Happy Birthday" sign on top of the cake, but the names. I panicked and made some swirlies to go behind the names to hide the holes from the previous sign. Phew!!! I think I pulled it off, but I may still be in denial. Thanks for looking!

Great idea by Grandson who ordered the cake rather than putting grandmothers age on cake we put her year of birth. both last name yost so that was on top and then first and middle name on each tier with year of birth. I forgot to take photo when it was complete so only have photo showing top tier completed

This cake is an 8" white round and a 10" dark chocolate round coated in buttercream and covered in MMF. All of the decorations are MMF with the exception of the cross (50/50 MMF and gumpaste mix). The mother of the cake loved it. She asked for a delicate and feminine baby dedication cake. I thought the cake turned out wonderful! Thanks for looking :)

This was my first covered fondant cake all by myself!! i had decided to make the roses the day before, I had not realized they were so many!! I was up until 4am, because at first I could not do it, I could not remember the instructors direction !! But... I found "EDNA "!!!!I want to thank " EDNA " for all her tutorials, you are a lifesaver!! :) :) I was able to finish the roses for my next day class. The teacher helped me arrange them on the cake, now ... I know I have to take classes with a florist! BTW I made this cake June of last year, I just got around to post it because I did not have the pictures, I don't know how my son recovered them. TFL!

This was a practice run on my Daughter's Birthday cake - I had an idea in my head, but wanted to see how it would look on cake! She requested two tiers, that the colors be carolina blue and white and that the top tier have dots - the rest was up to me! Fondant covered and fondant details - I used a food coloring marker to write her name on the fondant plaque. Added a white gum paste crown with blue gum paste accents. Thanks for looking!
