Flower pot and gardening box are both cake. Gardening tools are white chocolate. Flowers, babies, booties and seed packets are fondant. Sugar crystals inside seed packets so if you shake the packets it sounds like a real seed packet.

Fondant-covered "Mod Mom" baby shower cake for twins. I couldn't decide whether or not to put the plaque on the cake. It looked better without it, I think, but I worked so hard on that stupid plaque, I hated not to use it. I was going to take it with me and let the mom decide...but when I got there, I stuck my finger in the border (which was buttercream) so I used the plaque to cover it up. It's the one time I forgot to take my icing with me to make repairs. Oh well.

This was done for a baby shower with the mom to be expecting twin girls. The shoes and bibs are gumpaste. For the shoes I used a cutter I had purchased from www.cakesbyximena.com. Plunger flowers with silver dragees around the 6" tier.

Buttercream with MMF accents. Shower was for a lady having twins, boy & girl. I was a little worried about combining the pink and blue but I think it worked well in the end.

These were inspired by several cakes on this site...thank you all. I used 9 inch rounds for the face and a salad bowl for the snout. candy for the ears, nose and bananas. My 3 and 5 year olds helped decorate the smash cakes.
My twins love bananas and hang on my like little monkeys so it was perfect.

These two cakes go with the sesame/elmo birthday cake. These are the smash cakes which are also marble cakes with chocolate buttercream. I love these smash cakes, and I don't think I like the candles and cars but the gal who bought the cakes put them on, I liked them before that but hey what do you all think? Let me know!

Easy one, not one of my favorites though. Used whipped cream icing & that icing spray. (not too good at it) Used little porcelain booties on top.

Ordered for customer's 11 year old twins. Boy likes Univ. of Michigan football, girl likes beach, so this is what I came up with. The 1's are carved out of loaf size cakes. Cookies and cream icing and buttercream. I think the cake was chocolate.

These were for twins...one boy, one girl. The mom found the cute napkins and I took my colors from there. I used the Wilton cupcake pan and then made a giant cupcake for each kid to have a personal cake. These were a big hit.

This was my cake I made as part of the first Live Cake Challenge at the AZ Cake and Sugar Arts Show. I was one of three contestants and the surprise theme was "Baby Shower for Twins". I only had two tips, two colors, a handful of fondant, and an hour to complete the cake. I think this is the fastest I've ever whipped up a full basketweave on a cake! I had a LOT of fun, and many thanks to KimAZ for the pics!

This was a birthday cake for identical twin sisters with very distinct personalities. About the only thing they agreed on was that they wanted pastel colors and their dogs had to be on the cake. So we ended up with a funky pastel cake with with a Bull Mastiff and a Black Lab on top. Cake is WASC with all fondant decorations. Thanks for looking.

The mom was having twins, a boy and a girl, but didn't necessarily want it identifiable on the cake. It was a 10-inch & 8-inch yellow cake with buttercream and raspberry filling. Fondant extras, except for the crib (white chocolate) and the booties (royal icing).

I received this order from a very nice friend of the family who also ordered the two bridal shower cakes from me. Needless to say I totally felt the pressure to go above and beyond for her! (this pressure was brought on from me, not her) Well all I can say is that I am really happy about how these turned out, the request was for polka dots, or squares, something retro. This is what was born from that; each cake has fondant as a base- one cherry the other almond, and then both had squares and circles painted on in the babies color and then fondant shapes placed over them. One cake was lemon, the other chocolate. :) I really do like these ones! oh and the ball border was supposed to be all different sizes, so that's why it looks a little wonky!

I made this for a set of twin boys, all fondant. All edible exept the toulle canopy! I was going to make a hood out of gumpaste but I thought the canopy would be much easier, I may have been wrong! Overall I was happy with the results of my very first bassinett cakes!

This cake was made for a very special young lady who was having twins (a girl and a boy). She had mentioned it didn't have to be the traditional pink and blue so this is what I came up with. Everything is edible. All decorations are made of chocolate.

This is my third attempt at a topsey turvey cake. I had a really hard time working with MMF. I must have done something wrong beacause it was very tempermental and hard to work with. I'm just glad that this cake is finished. The top tier is yellow cake with chocolate ganache BC. The next tier is chocolate fudge cake with amaretto mocha BC. The last tier is chocolate cake cheesecake with cream cheease BC and chocolate ganache BC. All tiers are three layers tall dusted with pearl luster dust and done for my TWIN BOYS 1st birthday. There are several great tutorials on here for topsey turveys and I appreciate them all. TFL.
