This was my second time making gumpaste characters and I am pretty happy w/ how Betty came out. :) Cake covered with MMF. All figures made out of gumpaste/MMF.

Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling. Chocolate buttercream icing with fondant trim, handpainted silver with luster dust. Beer cans non edible but "ice" is rock sugar.

Top tier is chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream icing. Covered with fondant, sides are "Oreo Straws". Bottom tier is cream cheese pound cake with strawberry buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream icing. Covered with fondant. Both tiers dusted with luster dust. The "bubbles" are fondant balls coated with luster dust. Duckie is fondant and Froggie is marzipan.

This is a 8 inch cake . I made the ducks, bubbles, soap and tub from fondant. This is a almond cake filled with raspberry filling.

These are actually cupcakes that were iced over for a "water" look. I built it up so the cupcakes would rest high in the tub. The rubber ducky's are the B'day boys favorite bath toys, the bubbles are buttercream and the soap is fondant. The mother now has the tub as a keepsake of her son's 1st B'day. A small smash cake was made just for the b'day boy.

I made this cake and the cupcakes, for my sister-in-law's baby shower, based on various cakes already posted. The frog was added because my sister-in-law likes frogs. Wood slats, frog, lily pad and lily are gumpaste. Cake is carrot and icing is cream cheese. Blue color is airbrushed. It was incredibly fun. Guests thought there was real wood on the cake.

A 9x13 cut in half and then stacked and carved to look like a bathtub. Fondant covered board. All fondant. Thanks for looking!

This is a cake that I made with/for my friends sister-in-laws baby shower. We took some ideas from some of the cakes we saw on here and created our own version of it! We love it!! Turned out great!

Baby shower for a family friend who doesn't know the sex of the baby, tried to keep it gender neutral. I love the ducky cakes on here so I had to try one. Thanks to everone for the great ideas!

I took this photo before I added the yellow rubber duckies - they really made the difference. This was done with the sitting Wilton Bear pan and an oval cake to sit on.

A friend asked me to provide a baby shower cake--the catch was it was for the adoption of a toddler. Most baby shower cakes are baby-themed, so developing an idea for one that would express the excitement of the adoption as well as one that incorporated a toddler was a challenge. However, in viewing some cakes with this bathtub theme, I figured I could change the baby to the little girl they were adopoting. And the cake message seems to convey just how they felt, too!

I was so glad I took the class of Lorraine Mckay's. I went all 3 days and I have learnt so much in the past 3 days. She is such a loving person and a very good teacher. If she is in your city do join her class you will be glad. She did a baby girl in the tub but I did a boy since I have 2 boys and did not want to take a girl home.

10" oval pan used, iced in butter cream - one layer is chocolate and one is yellow with a fudgy filling. All accents made with fondant with tylose added. Silver luster dust used on the faucet and knobs (they even turn!) The birthday girl plays with these fish toys instead of rubber duckys while she is taking a bath.

I made this cake for my sister who had just had her first baby before her 27th birthday. I wanted to make something fun and also encourage her to relax! The cake is iced completely in buttercream and chocolate buttercream. The "tub" is a small oval cake I scooped the middle out of and placed the doll half inside. The "bubbles" are buttercream icing.

This is a bath tub baby shower cake. I used fondant for the sides, butter cream for the top, fondant for the lettering, and blown sugar bubbles for the large soap bubbles dusted with pearl dust. The flavor was lemon with lemon cream filling. The ducky is a toy.

Cookies I made for my boss (I worked seasonal at Bath & Body Works). Sugar cookies, MRBC & RI. All the cookies were cut freehand, as well as teh MRBC. I was pleased w/ how they came out. TFL

this is a 3-layer cake, chocolate, strawberry & white. between the layers is 3-berry chocolate filling, the water, suds and grass are buttercream. the baby, ducks, wood slats, towel, flowers, bottle, soap, and rattle are fondant. thanks to all the inspiration from this site!!!

NFSC hand cut and decorated to be tubs of popcorn. I made these for my daughter's field trip to see Dumbo. Tons of fun to make but my husband did not enjoy making enough popcorn for 98 cookies!!! That is a lot of mini marshmallows.

Made this for our school principal. He loves M&M's. This is so easy. round cakes, Kit Kats for the hot tub, rice crispies for the big M&M guy and fondant for the covering and arms and legs. It was a fun cake.
