This is a grooms cake I did The groom wanted a lowrider...so here is what I came up with and I added (you can't see in pic) a neon light to it which is actually a grow in the dark bracelet.

Sample cookies for my son. He had a Monster Truck party and wanted anything with fire on it... I have since perfected the flames and should really post the better ones, if I can only find them!

Finally did it, was actually pretty easy though didn't plan on the hot day and the long drive (the small tire fell off (that's why it's icky) and a kiddie finger got to the big tire before the pic.. Thanks for looking, and to those of you who gave me 'tire' advice (4" pan and cupcakes" - Wilton Icing)

I did this for my son's 7th birthday. He loves Grave Digger! It's a yellow cake, decorated in all buttercream, except for the tires. The tires are off of one of DS's trucks.

This cake was done for my step-son for his 10th birthday. He loves firemen and all of the cakes that I looked at looked too juvinile. I was going to make him the fire helmet, however, I was short on time. This was a creation with lots of help from a good friend and my husband. The tall cake is several layers of a loaf pan cake cut and torted to make the tower. The square cake is a double layer 6".

The customer wanted a big truck for her 3 y-o, money wasn't a problem, so I suggested a 3D cake, and she thought about a big foot truck. It's a marble cake with buttercream frosting and a few candies for the lights. I used the 3D beetle pan and the 9 X 13 sheet pan for the base. I hope her son likes it!!!

Here is one of three cakes I did this past weekend (I will post the other two soon). This was a choc. cake w/cookies & cream filling. BC icing for most, RI grill, wiper blades, door handles & wheels painted w/silver luster. Luster accents on BC headlights. MMF signs and license plates (front and back). Dragees around plates and on donut wheels for some added "Bling, Bling!". Boy's name was Max and obviously turning TWO...thus TWO the MAX trucking. Thanks to fellow CC'ers for their input on the base!!

I made this cake for a friend's son's 16th birthday to resemble the jeep he was getting. Excuse the support toothpicks under the bumper but I had them in there for the drive.

This was for my nephew's 4th birthday party. Its chocolate cake with chocolate IMBC, covered in MMF and brushed with copper lustre dust. The green of the eyes is americolor with green lustre dust. I realized at the last minute I had nowhere to stick the candles, so I just jammed them in the top!

another haphazardly done fondant covered cake. it was for my son's baptism. this cake was made during the time when i had to wake up in the middle of the night for the night feedings. used cookie cutters to make it sooo much simpler. not really happy with it plus the ribbon didn't match the color of the fondant.
