This cake was insane to make (8 hours - I was up until 5 this morning). I started with a 12 x 15 pan that I carved into pieces and covered in fondant. The head, hands and tires are gumpaste. I think it's one of the coolest cakes I've ever made. The 8 year-old birthday boy was thrilled!

This cake was done for a Transformer fanatic. Bumblebee & the Transformer logo were FBCT's. One chocolate layer & one vanilla with BC.

I did this for my son who loves Transformers. Thank goodness I was able to talk him out of the stand-up Bumblebee cake posted here on CC (it is a very cool cake). 12" Darn Good Chocolate Cake with cookies and cream filling covered in MMF dusted with silver luster dust. Autobot logo is 50/50 fondant and gumpaste dusted with red shimmer dust. Unfortunately, the border was damaged during transport. TFL -- Melissa

I deleted the other picture I had up of this cake because I changed a few things. And I like this one better. :) 9 in, 7 in, 5 in cakes. Buttercream icing and fondant decorations. Gumpaste TF painted with luster dust to look metal. I used pink strawberry marshmallows to make the red fondant. Starting with pink made the red better. I think. :) The TF came from a cake I saw by melodee1980! Thanks CC for all the great cakes!

Here is the 2nd of two cakes I worked on over night for a friend's twins. I learned a good lesson with this one. Buttercream will not stick to plastic, particularly in 100 degree heat! LOL

Made for a friend's boyfriend's son who loves Optimus Prime. Choc cake with BC Icing and BC frozen transfer. I also did the transformer logo on the front side of the cake & then the Autobot and decepticon logos on the other two sides. It was big hit and he's already requested two more cakes for his other children. TFL

French vanilla cake, bottom tier has raspberry filling, top tier has chocolate pudding filling. Iced in buttercream. Optimus Prime and Transformer logo were done with chocolate candy melts. I did the lettering and other decorations in buttercream. My son is so excited about his cake!!

A very fun birthday cake that I did for my boyfriend. Some of his armor was gingerbread covered in fondante and other areas were cake with buttercream or more fondante. Overall, another successful original design, hand made and handshaped!

A surprise for my brother, he requested the chocolate zucchini cake and ganache. He saw Optimus Prime immediately when they made their entrance to the reception and of course had to fix something. The wedding cake was fruit flan (also in my photos) so I added some chocolate covered strawberries to tie it in a little... same rough icing look as the brides cake as well.

This was the second cake I did for my son's 7th birthday. WASC with buttercream frosting. The semi stacks are butterfinger sticks. The headlight, sideview mirror and gas tanks are tootsie rolls warmed up and shaped. It was hard to make, but my son's face lite up when he saw it.

For my son's 8 b-day i made this cake. He is into transformers these days, so a transformer cake was the most logical choice. It's done with crisco icing. My son was very happy with the final result (so was i).
