I used 2 --16 x 16 pans side by side..and traced the outline of the Eiffel Tower on top. Then I wrote down the students names around the outline...
All done in Buttercream. Grad colors are Red, White & Black.

This was my first castle cake and it was so much fun. With some extra time, i would have loved to make more windows, maybe some stained glass, some window-boxes, etc. Lots of ideas but now enough time!

Cake I made for my Course 3 Final. From the Wilton Course book called Tower of Flowers. Please excuse the bump in my fondant...just as I was pulling into class the cake slid off the seat and hit the floor.
The actualy cake is French Vanilla with Raspberry Whipped Creme Filling

This cupcake tower included 150 cupcakes with a 6" cake on top. Cake topper was created by Great Grand-Daughter. (She also added the odd flowers to the top - It was hard for me to tell her that it didn't match - but I was good and left it alone! LOL!!!!!)

I made this for my husband's 40th birthday party this past weekend in addition to his surprise oreo cookie cake. This was all done in the same weekend I had a wedding cake that served 300 people. Needless to say, I threw this tower together at 11:00 Saturday night not worrying too much that the styrofoam was showing (next time I will coat the cone with chocolate first). Seeing the styrofoam really bothers me!

I made this for my DD's birthday. It was my first time working with MMF. It was fun, but a little scary. I hope it holds up until her party tonight!

This is a royal icing eiffel tower, thank you to rtsml for the awesome template and directions. Everything else buttercream. This cake was for a French teacher that my mom works with. She loved it, she said that it is not as common in France to have personalized birthday cakes with names on them. Sorry for the crappy picture, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to set up the appropriate "backdrop".

This was my county fair entry, I was awarded Best of Show and I couldn't be happier. I am so excited about the win, I keep pinching myself! The cake is 10",8",6" dummies. Covered in fondx. RI eiffel tower, RI scroll work and trim. I used fondx for the showgirl, frames and drape work for the top tier. The images are edible. I did diamond impressions on the 2nd tier and trimmed them with sugar crystals.

Royal icing. There are 16 pieces forming this tower. I had to do it, like 5 times just to get this final piece. I like it.

6" chocolate cake on 10" white cake. Iced in buttercream w/royal icing decorations. Cake was for an Ariel theme party - so I tried to make the cake look like an undersea castle - complete with seaweed and anemone (one day I'll learn to say it too! LOL). I had the Wilton Castle kit - but there's no way to secure the towers, so I used ice cream cones for the towers, and used the door/windows from the kit since I was running out of time.

Huge castle...12" by 12" bottom 2 tiers and 8" by 8" top 2 tiers. BC with fondant accents. This cake was way too big but that is what the customer wanted for her granddaughter's 1st bday!!! Not one of my better cakes...alot of problems along the way but live and learn I guess :)

This cake was for my niece's first birthday. I made a two tier sand castle with matching smash cake just for her. The shells and doors are chocolate. The towers and stairs are rice crispy treats covered with fondant. The turrets are sugar cones and waffle cones also covered in fondant.

Here is the cupcake tower I made for my baby sister's Quince. Everyone was expecting the usual tiered cake with fountain. Everyone loved this tower. I was very proud of it. My sister loved and that is all I wanted to hear!!

I made these cupcakes for myself for my birthday. They were White Russian flavored (vodka and Kahula). The icing wasn't that smooth but I got impatient, I wanted to get the Eiffel towers and fluer de lys on them.....and of course eat them!

This is meant to be a cake topper. It's made completely out of royal icing and a lot of patience! I did it just to see if I could...fun!

Update: Many have asked for the instructions to creating this Eiffel Tower. In an effort to respond to all of those numerous requests, I have created a file link on my website. Go to www.confectioneista.com and click the Eiffel Tower picture on the "About" page and download the instructions. Enjoy!

Mountain Autumn Wedding Cupcake Tower. Chocolate Devil's food cake and cupcakes with Raspberry Filling then covered in rich Butter Cream. Cake is covered in MMF and dusted with luster dust. The leaves are made of MMF and dusted, as well.
I made the cupcake tower by stacking plates with bowls in between. Worked great!

This is a two-tier cheesecake covered in chocolate ganache and graham cracker crumbs. The towers are sugar cones done the same way. I finished it off with chocolate shells and flags. It was for a sweet 16 birthday.

Dummy cake for a friend's new shop that caters young girls birthday parties. First time use w/ fondant. I made the decoration very simple because this cake would have to be duplicated for all the parties.
