This was a recreation of a cake sent to me by my customer. Big thanks to rstml for all of her help, and template with the RI tower. This was a 1/4 sheet cake cut into squares, complete with fondant swags and bc dots. This was a strawberry marble cake with mocha mousse and fresh strawberry filling.

They originally called me wanting this cake for 40 people,
but even when I explained that this design would feed a lot
more than 40 ~ she still insisted it be all cake (no styrofoam).
So....she got a cake to feed 130 and I got a check for $300.
The bottom cake is chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream
filling, iced in blue buttercream with white fondant ribbon and Tiffany & Co
piped on. The next cake is orange/lemon swirl cake with lemon curd filling,
iced in orange buttercream with the Hermes 'H' piped on. Next is red velvet
cake with cream cheese filling, iced with red icing and the Valentino logo
piped on. Next is a chocolate mint cake with mint buttercream filling, iced
in chocolate with the gold Louis Vuitton symbol piped on. Last is a vanilla
cake with raspberry filling, iced in white buttercream with black bow and the
Dolce & Gabbana "D & G" piped on. 12"/ 10"/ 8"/ 6"/ 4" We took it unassembled
to the Delano hotel on South Beach where I proceeded to set it up in their front lobby
area. I had quite an audience while I was stacking it!!! Then Todd carried it through
the hotel to their restaurant where the birthday girl and her guests awaited. And yes,
that top cake was leaning a bit....but it was cut and served very shortly thereafter ~ so no disasters!

This cupcake tower was for my friend's baby shower to celebrate the impending arrival of her baby girl she is adopting from China that she waited over 2 years for. Used buttercream icing in (no-taste) red, yellow on homemade chocolate squares and gold edible glitter, all traditionally lucky colours in Chinese culture. The symbols represent love, eternity and peace.

I did this for a small 75 person wedding. The bride loved it. At first I was leary, but it did look really good in the room...and how easy!! The cupcakes were chocolate with caramel filling and bc top and the cake was red velvet w/cream cheese filling and bc. The blossoms are gumpaste.

Cupcake tower I made for my new sister-in-law! 96 total, buttercream swirl w/ royal icing rose on each. Piped buttercream leaves on each. Half were Chocolate, half Lemon. Top "cutting" cake is a 2 layer 6 inch in buttercream with buttercream roses and piped buttercream ivy. This project helped me practice my roses... definitely have them down now! :)

Sure didn't want to attempt a tower out of royal icing and I got lucky and found what used to be a lamp. So I found a bunch of French words and wrote them on the side of the cake. It was really hard to take a picture with all the stuff in the background and when I put a blakc drape behind it the tower blended into it but I think you get the idea. It was a big hit. Lemon cake with raspberry fillling and BC.

The other picture shows it without the black drape and this one is with the drape. Couldn't win for losing with that. It was a big hit. Lemon cake with raspberry fillling and BC.

A 4 year old little girl has always called the Tower of Americas in San Antonio the birthdaqy Tower because it looks like it has a cupcake on the top. For her 4th birthday the parents ordered the cake shaped like the tower. I placed an edible image of her in the window. The real tower is in the background for comparison.

This was my 1st wedding and my 1st cupcake tower. It was for a great friend of mine and I am so proud that she trusted me with it. Her theme was daisies and her colors were white, silver, and antique blue. The cupcakes toppers are royal icing monograms (blue and white painted with pearl and sparkle) and MMF daisies (blue and white, also painted with pearl and sparkle). The bride ordered the cardboard tower and decorated it herself. It was a little unsteady, but held up fine.

The mom brought me the toys and the cake is three 6x3" rounds stacked high (cardboard and dowels in between with a center dowel). One of those things where a 4 year old's only request is a vague and bizarre "really tall with a house on top." Little girl was speechless, I think we nailed it :)

Sorry about the view and lighting. I didn't know I would be posting it and didn't really prepare for it.
It is just a tower of heart shaped cakes, decorated with flowers and text. Simple but lovely(if you see the actual thing).

This was for an 8th grade promotion dance with an "Island Paradise" theme. We needed 300 cupcakes, so I decorated 4 cupcake cakes (in my photo gallery) and put the rest on the cupcake tower. The tower is actually the tall tier wedding cake stand converted with brown paper, green fun foam, and hot glue.

Chocolate cake with white buttercream. Gumpaste flowers and bow, painted with luster dust. Used a technique I've seen in other photos here for the tower- masonite cake boards covered in contact paper with wine glasses in-between. Worked wonderfully!
