My first attempt at MMF... as you can see I had issues with my edges getting iced. I finally just gave up. But I had fun with the MMF.

My second entry in a local cake competition held yesterday themed "You Are Invited". This one won 1st place in the advanced division/category. All dummy cakes covered with fondant. Fondant decorations. Thanks to everyone that helped me with this type of construction.

Customer wanted cake to match her invitations but didn't want to spend $$$ on a real topsy turvy cake. So, I used the Wilton topsy turvy pan and placed it on a 12" x 18" sheet cake since she needed to serve 100 guests. Everything covered in bc and colors are airbrushed. Used fondant for accents.

Can't take credit for the design of this cake. The birthday girl found a picture on this site of a cake that looked like this and wanted one like it so I'm not sure who to give the credit too (I'm sorry). Cake make from 3 flavors with buttercream icing and fondant accents. Was a lot of fun to make. TFL

Iced w/ bc, black and white fondant accents, silver dragees on top and bottom tiers. I have the coordinating groom's cake posted in my pictures if you want to see it. I strongly recommend doing a trial run on styrofoam before placing the monograms on a slanted cake top!!

WASC, Chocolate Mocha & White chocolate cake. Almond/Butter & Cheesecake Buttercream. Fondant accents. I wanted fondant balls, but had had enough by that point. This was my first stacked & first whimsical cake. Unfortunately, it ended up crashing when I tried to put the center dowel in. Thankfully the party was canceled b/c of snow (just family anyway). But I learned a lot from this cake. It took forever, but all in all was fun! TFL

I did this cake for my Mom's birthday. I am very very new to all of this so i was pretty proud of my first attempt at both teared cakes (intended to be topsy turvy) and fondant. If anyone has any tips on how to get wrinkles out of the bottom of the fondant please let me know! All decorations and fondant and painted with frosting color. I would love any comments (bad or good) you would leave!!

This is a layered yellow and chocolate cake on both tiers. It has different shades of pink poka dots and mini flowers, has pink and mint green stripes on the bottom tier. And curled fondant for the top border. Had sooo much fun making this cake.....

This cake is just like the other TWO of these that I've made except it was half the size, and they didn't want black roses, so I swapped them out for white ones. Thanks for looking!
