Noah's arc was created for a christening. The cake is in 3 flavours with lots of decorative animals and flowers. The cake is based on a party invitation, when a pastel theme.

I've wanted to try a topsy turvy cake for some time now, and I am always fascinated to learn of cool things that come from Canada. I decided to make a whimsical cake highlighting some of the great inventions to come from Canada such as the telephone, 5 pin bowling, the zipper, basketball, and the paint roller.

I had a lot of fun with this but didn't realize all the work that went into it. Kinda of a 'surreal' moment as a new baker on what I can accomplish. All tiers are different flavor cake with MMF. Created for a 1st birthday.

Had a lot of fun with this but when I began this cake, had really no idea what labor intensive job it would be. Wouldn't change a thing though. Turned out quite amazing. Each tier is different flavor cake and all covered in MMF.

Rocker Chick Cake. Vanilla cake with whipped strawberry filling and chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling. Iced in Italian meringue buttercream and accented with fondant. Gumpaste guitar.

My first attempt to make a Topsy Turvy cake for my cousin and my combined birthday party. It was kind of difficult since I had only made one other themed cakes before, and VERY time consuming. But at least everyone liked it!

This was my first wedding cake and first topsy turvy (other than the one practice cake I made). The tiers are 6",8" and 10". I owe it all to Sharon Zambito's Totally Topsy Turvy DVD.

This was my second attempt at a topsy-turvy cake. I think it turned out pretty well. The quality of the photo is terrible, so you can't really tell what color it truly was (hot pink), but oh well.

I think the most difficult part was the shoe on top. I knew what I wanted it to look like it just took me a bit to get it to where I was good with it! It is all vanilla cake with a smoothed vanilla buttercream finish and fondant accents.

Probably had more fun making this cake than any other one I've done. Got to re-live my high school years while making this for a local high school reunion. Complete with acid-washed jeans, mullett, big hair, and all other 90s goodness!

Bottom layer is banana and chocolate layered with chocolate ganache and cream cheese frosting. The top layer is vanilla cake with strawberry cream. All fondant detail for a little girl who loves cats

bottom layer is 8", 9" and 10". Top is 7" and 8". All covered in buttercream with fondant accents. Tea cup and saucer are also fondant.

My aunt asked me to make a cake for a sixtieth birthday, giving no more information than "art, culture, technology". So I searched for inspiration and decided to go with a wonky cake for practice. I'm happy with the shape this time. Thanks for looking.
