My sons birthday cake! Iced in buttercream and all decorations, including the mushrooms and bananas are made with fondant except the figurines and cars. I used the topsy turvy pans and added an extra layer of cake to each tier because they didn't seem big enough. Now I wish I hadn't. I do not like these pans, I had to bake the 10" four times, they do not bake well at all and I don't think the angles are sharp enough.

Fondant covered with fondant stripes and dots. Bow, stars and number 8 are gumpaste. Airbrushed in pearl finish.

I made this for our local girls high school flag football team. Unfortunately for everyone it di not make it to the banquet as my husband added a board underneath which caused it to slide off. Another lesson learned.

The lovely chick that takes care of all our girly hair and nail needs asked me to make her daughter's birthday cake - 1st birthday, at that. She had three targets - pink, tiara, and cupcake. =) We decided we hit it right on with this cake. BC covered with MMF. All decor is MMF as well dusted with shimmer dust

A topsy turvy graduation cake for my cousin, who will be attending Tennessee in the fall! She wanted to look ahead and not back so we went with the college colors. I made this with the Fat Daddio's pans, but I added one 2 inch layer under each finished mad dadder layer. I carved in a flat spot on the 10" layer, but not the 8" layer that the 6" layer sat on. Does that make sense? I just set the 8/6 tiers on as-is, with lots of dowel rods for support. I think that finally did the trick, I am happy with the result and she loved it.
