This is a sister cake to the Towmater cake I made for a child's birthday party. The mother of the child requested a cake that could be served first so that they could keep 'mater on display as long as possible. Vanilla Cake with fruit punch BC Frosted out in Vanilla BC I airbrushed out black. TFL

Th birthday girl was receiving a swing set for her birthday and so the theme revolved around the swing set....this is my new favorite cake....a lot of fun to do. Thanks for looking!

These are the two smash cakes for the boys. Notice the names in the cars logo, and also their age on the top as if it was the writing on the tire. These are made to look like the tires of lightening mcqueens car. All icing, fondant logo and center piece on top. Please tell me what you think?

The recipient of this cake collects antique tractors and his favorite is a Farmall B. The "tire" is black vanilla fondant and the rest of the cake is buttercream. The tractor was done freehand.

Babies first birthday. Since I have THE hardest time with RKT, I used bagels covered in fondant for the wheels. Smash cake was of course a big ol' spare tire! Can you just imagine that black icing all over that little boys face??

Yellow pudding cake with BC icing and fondant and BC accents. 9" 2-layer w/6" tractor tire that I carved, also using yellow pudding cake. Cake mound covered in BC and crushed oreos for dirt pile. Fun cake to do! Free-handed the J.D. logo/emblem- probably what I'm most proud of on the whole cake, lol! TFL!!

This cake was done for a little boy who told his mom all he wanted was Lightening McQueen's (a character from CARS) tire as his cake with a birthday message instead of "Lightyear Tires" on it. 10" cake with buttercream icing.

Graduation cake with fondant sprint car. the spint car is made out of rice krispy and was inspired by the clients real car . BC tire and checkered tier. needed to serve 150 people. The black gave me fits.

9" chocolate cake layers iced with chocolate buttercream then covered with chocolate Pettinice fondant. Tire treads hand-grooved with a gumpaste veining tool. Flames are fondant made with leaf cutters. Harley-Davidson bike on top of cake supplied by bride. Fun cake for a groom's cake!

16" tire, fondant covered. Front brake (the silver circle in the middle) is fondant, and spokes are painted cookie/lollipop sticks.

I can't even begin to describe all the things that went wrong with this cake - so I am actually pretty happy with the results (as I didn't expect much). All IMBC, top tier is yellow cake, boktom tier is freckled mocha cake with bailey's mousse filling. Oh yeah, and the middle of the logo says "no way" because I only have 4 tips (I'm a NEWBIE newbie) and the smallest tip I have was too large to write Harley-Davidson - lol.

I had these made for my son's birthday party for the guests. It was his first birthday so he had his own cake and these were for everybody else. They turned out great. I wanted to do them myself but I got really sick and luckily a lady at my local Albertsons was able to create them for me. She did a great job.

This was made for a male baby shower. The dad loves mountain biking and camping, so I made a baby camp on top of a mountain bike tire. It was tricky for me, but I really like how it turned out.

Cake for my brother's 28th birthday...his wife requested that either a replica or logo be on the cake of Ford, John Deere, DeWalt, and Stanley. He's a plumber so I added the role of toiled paper as a joke with his business's name on it. It's buttercream covered in fondant. Some of the accents are a mixture of gumpaste, fondant, and tylose. Blurry due to my outdated camera!

This cake was fun to do and was ordered as a "Just Because You are Special" cake. Her fiance is a Jeff Gordon and NASCAR fan and she wanted to give him something special to kick off the racing season. Chocolate fudge cake and filling, covered in chocolate fondant. Flags are fondant/gumpaste.

Surprise 50th birthday cake for an auto mechanic. Wilton 3D car cake on top of a 9x13" sheet cake. Iced in buttercream with fondant accents. TFL!

This was made for a friend's kids birthday. Chocolate cake covered in fondant. Mud was made with chocolate icing smeared on by hand then most was wiped off with towels. Really fun to do.

Birthday cake for my DH, a motorcycle enthusiast. Both helmet and tire are cake, both chocolate. Buttercream icing with MMF accents. Helmet is covered in MMF. Silver luster dust used for a metallic effect. The helmet and key were made to look exactly like his actual ones.

2, 10"-12" German Chocolate Cakes finished with Italian Butter Cream and covered in rolled fondant. Tire treds were pressed in with a knife, spokes were done with platinum dust, flames were made of fondant and accented with buttercream.
