This is a three tiered first birthday cake covered with lavender rolled fondant. The bows are a mint green embossed fondant. I had to make the cake topper myself because I was unable to find one that coordinated with the customers color scheme.

Pink champagne. BC with fondant accents. 14", 12", 8", plus there were cakes on either side 12" and 6" each. Lot of work but it was worth the $$$!

This is my first attempt at any cake. I'm taking the Wilton Course 1 and I love it. I know that I have ALOT of work to do, but it is so much fun. The cake is lemon with strawberry frosting filling with BC. Tinkerbell is a gel transfer with BC stars. I'm having trouble getting the cake iced nicely, but I know that it'll come with time. Thanks for looking

This was three layers of yellow cake with chocolate filling, iced in BC. This was my first attempy at a tiered cake and it managed to withstand 105 degree temperatures at my daughters 4th birthday party in the park!

I made this cake for my 2 year old's birthday. I had to decotate it *again* that morning. My two girls thought it was a good idea to eat all of the decorations off! LOL

I used a Tinkerbell icing transfer for the image and made royal icing flowers for it. The name is made of royal icing, though quite fragile, the "y" broke when I was putting it on so it doesn't look that great. I was happy with this cake, although I still get really frustrated trying to smooth my sides.

Customer wanted all the princess's and Tinkerbell on the cake, in bright colors, with a ribbon, and a long birthday message! I managed to get it all on there. It came out better than I had expected. Iced in buttercream, fondant accents, edible image plaques.

This was done for my daughter's 4th birthday party (the first of two). Top cake was chocolate and bottom was a white. Both had BC icing underneath the MMF covering. Ribbons were attached to the bottoms and a figurine was bought for the topper.

Tinkerbell/Fairy Land. This was for my niece's 6th birthday. The big flowers were part of the tinkerbell toy (I cheated!)...convenience!

Here is my youngest cousin's birthday cake. She's a tinkerbell freak!! Well she loved it. Her party started at 7pm and I left at 1:30am and noone had cut the cake because it was "too pretty". I just told them they were missing out on some good chocolate cake.

Tinkerbell is a fbct. White edible dust is sprinkled over the cake and roses. Super Pearl Dust is used to make her look like she is sprinkling dust on the flower she is holding. The colors are dark purple and light violet...my camera made the colors look blue.

BCFT close up - I would have like to have the Wings a little more shiny. I didn't have piping gel so I used corn syrup and then sprinkled silver before placing the light blue icing.

Tinkerbell didn't turn out as well as I hoped so it may be more appropriate to call this a fairy cake!
