I made this cake for a friend's 7 year old. It was a lot of fun. I was worried about the detail of the face, but it didn't turn out too bad.

This is a tinkerbell cake I did for a little girl's 3rd birthday. Tinkerbell is a chocolate transfer and the flowers on the cake are done w/ tootsie roll midgies.

I made this as a joke for a co-worker's b-day. Nothing fancy, but I thought it turned out kinda cute. Topper and lettering are purchased. The rest is buttercream.

10 French vanilla and 6 inch strawberry rounds. I was told pink and purple with this tinkerbell topper. I used the opportunity to use my fmm lace cutter and embosser for the first time. I loved the look and can't wait to use it again.

this was taken from the Wilton book and it was easier than I thought. Had some issues with the bc as my AC froze up that day and it was 100 outside and baking in my house! BC crumb coat kept sliding off and had to freeze the cakes...it was a mess but in the end my granddaughter was ecstatic with her Tinkerbell cake.

I made a hat...sort of, with a fondant bow that didn't want to quite stay. And then covered it with lots of royal icing flowers made before hand. The TInk is an antenna topper

I made this for a friend's little girl. Chocolate cake, buttercream icing. She requested a Tinkerbell cake with Tinkerbell flying, Tink's name underneath, and pixie dust. Instead of a FBCT I placed wax paper over an image of Tink , placed on towel and punched dots with a pin as if I were tracing with dots. I then took the wax paper with the impression and laid it on the cake rubbing it in. When removed it leaves a perfect impression of Tink and her name. Icing outlined and sugar crystals fill her in.

I made this for my niece's birthday, she's a huge tinkerbell fan. Tink and the flowers are royal Icing, everything else is buttercreme. I used colormist to color the cake but I don't think I'll do that again, because it goes everywhere!ha ha.
