This was my first stacked, big wedding cake. 14, 12, 10, 8. Don't have AC in the house, so that was a challenge, at one point the frosting was sliding off the cakes. Big learning experience! BC with some fondant stripes. Orange gumpaste tiger lilys. Thanks for looking!!

This cake is Tiger from the PBS cartoon "Word World." The cake was chocolate, filled with whipped chocolate ganache, and coated with marshmallow creme buttercream icing and fondant. I used a sheet cake and carved out each letter, just like the tiger toy from the show. My 3 year old loved it!

This was tons of fun to make and she absolutely went nuts over it -- that's what makes me love this job! My friends babes just turned 4 and 2. It was her idea to put a crown on the girl monkey, so I added the ball cap to the boy.

This was the 'Noah's Ark' cake I made during the workshop with Debbie Brown, here in Melbourne. At the workshop, we were only able to make 2 pairs of animals (elephant and pig). Then when I got home that night, I added another 8 pairs of animals.

This cake was for a circus-themed first birthday. Iced in BC and border
is BC. Decorations/figures are made out of fondant. You cannot see the
animals since they are all around: lion, elephant, tiger and lion. I will post
a separate picture for them. Popcorn is marshmallows. Found the instructions for the 'popcorn' in one of the forums - thank you to the CC author (not sure of the name). Thanks for looking

Wiltons Amazing Amazon. This was much more time consuming then anticipated! Both tiers are yellow cake with strawberry filling covered in fondant. Before the shower while taking pictures I had a cake mishap - my hand slipped while rotating the cake and my finger went right into the front & center of the bottom tier. I was able to repair and no one said a thing! At the baby shower the palm trees started breaking so i just laid the palm trees around the elephant and it look just as good i think.

Chocolate mudcake covered in chocolate ganache. Tiger was handpainted using watered-down color gel onto fondant. Sadly one of the children at the party tried to pick up the tiger from the cake, hence the cracks :( That'll teach me to photograph before transporting!
