Here's my 1st tiered cake (2nd fondant cake ever). It was the final cake for Wilton Course 3. It's all fondant. I wasn't very happy with the fondant bow so I swapped it out for fondant flowers when I got home.

This bridal shower cake was fun to make. The bride and groom are having a destination wedding in Vegas and had a themed shower to match. Everything is edible on this cake aside from the red and black feathers behind the sign on top. I am most proud of the sign on top of the cake. It took the longest but turned out beautiful. The cake The top tier is a yellow 6" square cake, middle tier is round 10" dark chocolate cake and bottom is round 12" marble. Each tier had 3 layers of cake. When I carried the cake into the shower, everyone clapped. It made me feel that the three nights I stayed up until 3:30am working on the cake was worth it! Thanks for looking :)

This cake was for a little boy's first birthday - they went Scooby the whole way! The top tier of the cake was chocolate, the bottom tier was yellow butter both with vanilla buttercream filling, then topped with fondant. the presents were fondant cut-outs, the bottom border was also fondant and the swirls were piped on with buttercream icing. Scooby was a candle - my sculpting is not quite that advanced just yet! :) The smaller "smash" cake was done with the small wilton wonder mold then topped with buttercream decoration.

My granddaughter was specific about what she wanted for her cake. She wanted a frilly cake with neon flowers and white butterflies. I tried to edit her request the best that I could to keep it from being too gaudy. I hope that I did. The cake was one tier marble and one tier white cake that was tinted purple, both were filled with chocolate buttercream. The buttercream icing was covered with fondant. Thanks for looking.

This was a cake I entered to the "Sweet Times in the Rockies" cake competition. I won 2nd place in my division for tiered cakes. I tried to use as many techniques as possible, gumpaste flowers, stencil, piping, fondant, etc. I LOVE this cake. It has my heart. And about 30 hours of my sweat and energy. Wish I would have done a little better in some areas, but give in a good look and let me know what you think :)

I saw all these designs from cupcakeenvy. I loved her cakes and had to try and make them myself. I donated them to an auction that was raising money for cancer awareness.

I chose peach and teal as the colors of the roses because I wanted it to depict the spring or summer. Entire cake is made from buttercream icing...no fondant used...roses are also made from buttercream. The top cake is vanilla and the bottom cake is a yellow cake. Other than the fact that I didnt get the icing perfectly smooth on the sides, I am quite proud of the way it turned out and how it looks!!!

This is a first for me! The yellow book was accidentally bumped...more than once. Tried to repair it. Hazards of working in a bakery full of people!

The bride brought a pic of a cake very similar to this one. It is buttercream with fondant covered spacers. This pic was taken before the freah flowers were added (hot pink and breen gerbera daisies, and hot pink and jade roses). The florist was running a liitle late and I had another wedding cake to deliver and assemble 45 miles from this one. I never got a photo of the completed cake.

Bottom tier was a 10" round. Monster truck was a stacked 5.5" 2.5" (approx) cake covered in fondant. This cake took far more time to do than I anticipated! The 4 yr old boy loved it...I was happy!
