They wanted a non traditional wedding cake, that included their 5 cats. I was inspired by several cat cakes here and thank you a million to the ladies that helped me out with the cats!

This cake is an 11X15 sheet cake covered in blue fondant. The hard hat is made by using the soccer ball cake pan with a 9 inch round cake underneath it. It has fondant details attached to the cake with dowel rods and then covered in fondant. Standard dowel rod tier construction was used to stack the cake. Wilton 21 Star tip was used to make the star border. Writing was done in Wilton tip 2.

This cake ended up waaaayyy off from the plan.... another test cake (the same weekend) for a friend/co-worker... I tried: gumpaste bows (i broke the ribbon and ended up covering in bc), royal icing ("doodles" on cake), painting with gel color (over "Sandra"), royal icing tiara (didn't take a picture of the millions of pieces it broke into, haha), 1st tiered cake, 1st time trying to carve a circle for the top tier (i'm investing in a smaller pan, don't worry), used MMF but was so stretchy/sticky for some reason, i don't know how to do borders so i just improvised w/bc... well, she loved it despite the imperfections and it tasted so good.. I learned SO MUCH!

Full picture of the cake. This is my first time doing a tiered cake! I think it came out pretty well! It was my first time doing the swags as well. I found out something very important...you really MUST have supports under these things! Lol! The top tier is a Betty Crocker chocolate gluten free cake for my dad and the bottom is a chocolate cake for us. All bc. *Sorry about the bad shot, my sister took it for me and was having a hard time getting her hand to stay still and the lighting to be righ

Both tiers are dreamsicle cake with vanilla buttercream, fondant bow & handmade 50/50 fondant & gum paste roses and leaves (each colored by hand). This is my first tiered cake ... and my own design. I'm pretty happy with it, although I ran out of time to finish all the details.

I made this cake for my daughter's wedding. The bottom layer is chocolate cake and the rest are dummies. After I covered the tiers with grey fondant I painted the scroll design with purple food coloring and added 3 different shades of purple flowers cascading down the entire cake.

It was inspired of a Pink Cake Box Halloween Wedding Cake. The couple wanted a Halloween wedding cake that matched the wedding decoration. The cake had 3 tiers, fondant covered, 150 gum paste lids, Red Velvet flavor and Creame cheese filling. I had a lot of fun making this cake. Thanks for looking.

This was just for practice. I used bc for the string work and when I tried to move it the strings started to fall. I tried to fix them but it got kinda sloppy. I had family coming over to sample so I had to rush.
I also split the cake and gave the top away to a dance teacher of my daughters. I added dots before I split it but did not get pictures.
She love it.
Thanks for looking.

This is a cake I made for a friend's mom's 50th birthday! Her favorite flowers are sunflowers and she loves hummingbirds so I compiled a lot of things together for this cake. On top of the cake are a dog and a cat, these are in memory of some pets. I made the flowers/characters out of fondant. This is my 3rd cake, and my first attempt at a tiered cake!

My third tiered cake- very proud of this one. I was a little nervous about it because it is based off of a Pink Cake Box design. I have never done fondant figures either- so I made no promises to the client that this would turn out looking like Pink Cake Box! hehe However, I think they turned out very well and the client loved it.
