This cake didn't turn out the way I planned. Did it for a local cake show, but unfortunately someone almost hit me on the way to the show and the cake ended up sliding off half the cake board and into the side of the box, but I ended up entering it anyway, but of course did not place. Had fun doing it. Buttercream icing, royal icing flowers, peal dusted the flowers and swirls. Didn't get a picture of my cake before it fell over :(

I made this cake for a little girls 7th birthday. All the decorations; the leaves, stars, swags, balls on the cake are made of fondant with luster dust, except for Tinkerbell. The cake topper and doll on the tier are real. The large tier was a Yellow Cake with Buttercream frosting, the second tier was a White Chocolate Cake with Raspberry filling and frosting, and the top tier was Chocolate Fudge with Orange Creamsicle Frosting and Filling. She LOVED it!

This was for a kids party. They wanted it to match the invitations which had 2 tone dots on it in those colors. This is a white cake with a whipped strawberry filling iced with the crusting cream cheese frosting, the dots and bubbles are fondant. I tried a different style of taking pictures, trying to make it look more art like.

I love putting ribbons on cakes. However, I wanted to use all edible materials instead of textiles. This is what I came up with. They are very difficult to get even but I have developed a method using different sizes of ribbons as my guide. I think it turned out great. I'm very pleased with this design.

I saw a cake in a book that I really liked. the flowers weren't flush with the cake the top half of the flowers stick off the top of the cake. I was hoping to get more flowers on it but the flowers I ended up making were a bit too big. But the effect still worked and I love the colors and the way it all turned out.

I made this cake for my oldest child, my daughter Gianna when she graduated from High school. My first attempt at a topsy turvy, this angle you really cant tell how off kilter it was, but it made it! She chose the colors and they really looked great, fondant and gumpase accents.

This is for a friends baby shower. Their last name is Scott. That is why the cake is for a girl not a baby boy named Scott.

My attempt at tiering, I didnt use any supports though and it leaned a little bit backwards!! However it managed to stay upright. Also I used Gum Trag with the sugarpaste to make the figures, it was much easier!!

10 and 8 inch tier cake, my first attempt at this type of cake. I was pretty pleased with the result. 16 year old was very specific about wanting a tiered cake with Pink on pink accents and black writing. Hopefully she likes this attempt. Buttercream on white cake

This is a cake I did for my Grandaughters 5th birthday.. It could certainly be used for a Wedding Cake without the crown of course OR a Quincenera Cake would be great as well.. Fondant and Royal Icing for scroll and diamond design.

Made this cake for my mom's best friend. Top cake an 8-inch double chocolate cake with raspberry mousse filling; bottom cake is a 10-inch pina colada cake with coconut & pineapple mousse filling. Cake covered with American buttercream, fondant and gumpaste decoration. Shells in chocolate and sand a mixture of white and light brown sugar. The sunglasses I made using florist wire and pressing circles of black fondant on to wires. Female figure made using 50/50 gumpaste/fondant.

This is my first time working with fondant. I made this cake for my Wilton Class III. After I finished the cake I realized I forgot to cover the cake board with foil. Ooops. As you will be able to see I forgot it a few more times. :)
