I did this for a friends daughter. She wanted tie-dye'd cake so went ahead and make the cake itself tie-dye'd. Everyone loved it and it was a blast to make. This was my first attempt with an airbrush.

This was my first lingerie cake I used my spray gun to give it a tie dye look and used butter cream to give it the lace look...my boys loved this hahaha!

I had originally posted a scanned picture b/c I thought I lost the digital's- But I found them!! This was my very 1st decorative cake. I couldn't find anyone to make me a Tie-dyed cake in my area the way I wanted it , so I did it myself! It was 3 tiered (white, chocolate & lemon) with fondant and air brushed Tie-dyed. I had to add the little colored glass rocks b/c right when I got done making it, my son decided to poke his fingers in it w/in a split second! So I had to cover it up with something lol.

For an end of the school year picnic for our homeschool group called "Smile." All buttercream. The cake is white cake colored in 4 different colors and swirled together. For the tie dye I crumb coated the cake in yellow then started with the purple and made a curvy line. I went back around the purple with pink, then green then blue then filled in any gaps with whatever I had the most icing left. I really like this cake. 1/2 shet cake saize with 8 inch dome cake for the smiley face.

Cake is chocolate with cheesecake filling and cream cheese frosting. This was my first try at making tie-dye fondant and made a template for the peace sign. The big daisies are gum paste, little ones on the sides of the cake are fondant.

It is made completely out of buttercream!! I used the FBCT to make the tie dye and I think it came out pretty groovy!!! TFL!!

This young lady actually made a sketch of each instrument she wanted on her cake and what color!! She wanted orange drums, red guitar, light blue microphone and black piano! I did tie-dye lettering and base for piano. All instruments are gumpaste. Cake is all chocolate with CBC filling and white fondant. Secondary photo shows sides with bars of music and words to "happy birthday" in edible images.

This is a small birthday cake that is a French vanilla cake, frosted with coconut buttercream. I simply striped my piping bag with 4 or 5 different colors, used a large star tip and made circles all over the cake. I think it turned out pretty cool!

Such a fun design! Inside the top tier: tie-dye, inside the bottom tier: a zebra pattern. I'm hoping to get a photo of the zebra pattern from the customer.

Vanilla cake with fondant accents. Customer wanted 'colors of the rainbow'. Cake was actually for two girls....top tier with 7 candles, bottom tier with 2 candles.
