All fondant, each tier is 5 inches tall... bottom layer is 14", middle is 10, and top is 6". This is by far the hardest cake I have ever made!!! It looks simple, but when you have a full time job and a 4 year old... It is sooo hard!!

This cake is one of a trio of cakes made for an adoption/birthday/baptism party. The colors were done to match the invitation and the ladybug was added to tie the three cake together. This cake was a yellow cake with buttercream accents. Flowers with royal icing.

This cake is decorated with buttercream icing and royal icing drop flowers. The lady who ordered it showed me a similar cake her daughter adored in a 1970's Wilton catalog. I modified it by making all of the tiers round and changing the tufts of tulle on the columns. I also made the topper because the birthday girl wanted a 16 on the top of the cake. The birthday girl was alated and her party guests ohhed and awwed and said I want a cake like that for my birthday. I was proud!

This cake is my take on a scaled down version made by Freed's Bakery in Las Vegas that customer fell in love with. A lot of non-edible stuff on this cake that I don't usually do, but that's what they wanted. Bottom is banana cake with choc. bavarian cream and the top is French vanilla with raspberry. Crushed nilla wafer "sand" will be added upon delivery.

All the accents are fondant except the bamboo on the side of the cake and the silk flowers. The water on top of the cake is piping gel colored royal blue.Sand is brown sugar, I am posting a pic of the top so you can see that too!

My daughter asked me at the last minute to bake her friend a Sweet 16 birthday cake. Luckily, I already had 2 rounds baked. I only had 90 minutes to ice and decorate the cake before her friend was stopping by. The cake is iced in buttercream and decorated with fondant (Satin Ice) accents. The roses are the simple rounds that you roll up. Leaves are buttercream. Photo is an edible image printed with Epson C88+ on a Kopykake frosting sheet.

The young lady's mum asked for something funky coloured. I suggested a pink and green purse and she pretty much let me do whatever I liked (aren't they the best customers!!)

This is the cake that I worried about for the past 4 months. I wanted it to be special for my little girl's sweet sixteen luau. The bottom tier was a 10-inch white cake with raspberry filling. The middle tier was an 8-inch white cake with pineapple, coconut, and macadamia nut filling. The final tier was a 6-inch white cake with strawberry filling. All the layers were covered in turquoise colored buttercream and covered in white chocolate shells, sea stars, and coral. Thanks for looking!

The cake was ordered 3 days in advance- She wanted somthing that would stand up in the heat at her daughters pool party- The only other thing she asked was for it to be colorful- They were happy with what I came up with.

Buttercream with MMF accents and bow. Inspired by several CC cakes. The lady who ordered this only gave me this info to go on: "Something special, no flowers, nothing too girly, and she likes the color brown." I thought it fit the bill!

For my Brother-In-Law's 40th Birthday I shipped him a tootsie roll cake all the way from Florida to Oregon! Boy was he suprised! The cake made it with no damage. It was coverd in fondant. the brown and red was airbrushed and the 40 was royal icing so it wouldn't get smushed in shipping!

I made this cake for my MIL's birthday. Top tier is a dummy (we didn't need that much cake). Bottom tier is carrot cake. Covered in fondant with gumpaste roses, tulips, daphne, sweat pea and freesias. Flowers took about two weeks to make (mostly at night after children were in bed). Cake design inspired by Ron Ben-Israel.
