6",9", and 12" square cakes. Shells were made out of white chocolate. I was super stressed with this cake that I almost cried! It was for a good friend of mine and I didn't want to disappont her. The fondant swags gave me a hard time and I thought that the pink was too dark and didn't matched the base. But later in the evening ( and a little bit of wine), the mismatched pinks didn't looked that bad!

Fondant with fondant covered styrofoam boosts. The piping is royal and so are the flowers - they were made days before and added dry. Hard to tell in the pic, but the swags are shimmery.

This cake was thrown together with less than 12 hours notice. I threw on some silk flowers and made MMF and the cakes, got them all done and delivered. There are many flaws and had this been for a wedding not an anniversary, or had it been paid for, I would have worked harder. But I think for my first wedding cake and with such short notice it turned out wonderful. Those silk flowers really are the best part though.

Here's a cake I made for a boat party we are invited to go to tonight. I used 6, 8, and 10 inch pans. Filling is Bailey's Irish Cream BC. Seashells are white and milk chocolate. Coral is white chocolate with luster dust. Swag is MMF dusted with luster. Pearls are Wilton fondant dusted with luster as well. "Sand" is crushed graham crackers. Top tier is leaning a bit, but I'm still learning! Coral design inspired by a picture from CC (sorry I can't remember the name). Thanks for looking!

Didn't get the consistency right before I piped those roses-and I knew it before I even filled the bag! Just was too lazy to fix it :) And you can see both of the back corners-one rose fell on the floor and I had to repipe a new one and on the other corner the rose is slowly sliding off!

This is my first attemp (just for practice) at the wedding cake that I
am doing for my sister in September. The real cake will be 4 or 5 tiers
high. I was very dissapointed with the push in pillars that I used for this cake ( they are very wobbly) so I went out and bought the 5 " curved pillars instead.

4 tier all white with raspberry filling, ivory buttercream with red roses and swags. This cake was from hell. I had to bake ahead and freeze because of time issues. I had to do the top tier 3 times to get it right, it kept falling apart. The bottom tier developed a crack.....I hope it makes it! The swags are soooooo badly done, I couldn't do the stupid stringwork right to save my life. When I arrived I discovered bulges that weren't there last night. So aggravated!! And Oh, so glad it's done!

I made this cake for my DH's office. They are celebrating everyone's birthday for the month of August today. Cakes covered in BC with hand painted ( yellow luster) fondant swags/tassels, bow topper, and Army 'A'. Satin ribbon around bases. Black Satin Ice (my new best friend) used for draped banner down the front, and for writing 'Happy Birthday' on. I couldn't get the flash to work, but the lustered parts are very shimmery. Thanks for looking!

Four tier round cakes covered in chocolate buttercream icing. Made chocolate rolled fondant swags to drap down the cake. Arranged faux calla lilies instead of making them. Smells deelicious. Hope the Bride loves it. I always deliver and set up in the hall the day of the wedding so it is a surprise to all.

Ok so i have made cakes that look like wedding cakes but this is my first offical cake for a wedding. IT was for my cousins wedding so it was less stressful then others. Baking alone took 5-6 hours. The cake pretty much made it to the reception (in 20 minutes of traffic up and down hills), slightly stressful. The cake is vanilla marble vanilla. with vanilla chocolate vanilla buttercream. covered in satin ice. The swags are fondant and the flowers are buttercream as well as the border.

This cake was a gift for a friend's DD's 3rd birthday. I used it as a trial run for my first RI tiara. All in all everything went well. I was surprised how easy it was and how quickly it dried. I was also surprised when it broke almost in half, but it held together well once I put it on the cake. At the birthday girl's request, it's a strawberry cake (CMD recipe) with vanilla IMBC and fresh sliced strawberries.

Oh my this was a rescue operation, after photographing the cake I noticed two dark choc fingerprints on the white choc covering. I couldn't remove them so I lustered the cake to within an inch of it's life. I preferred it before but needs must!
