Zombie surf cake for a friends 8 year old zombie obsessed boy. Had a lot of trouble with this guy. Head is rkt covered in fondant, only used fondant 1x before, for something totally different. It was over 100degrees in my house while trying to decorate this guy. Lots of near disasters, but fun to make. Body is french vanilla cake, cookie dough filling, and bottom round is cookies and cream.

I used fondant, gumpaste, royal icing, buttercream, and piping gel. It took me about five hours not including cook time. It was a yellow cake with peanut butter swirl and a peanut butter buttercream. It was for a family friend's step-daughter, she is a surfer.

This was for a lady's birthday that loved the Ron Jon Surf Shop. It was two layers. One layer was dark chocolate and the other was Milk CHocolate and Buttercream. MArshmellow fondant covered and accessories.

Covered in buttercream. Waterfall was a fondant, foam at the bottom was pipped buttercream. Palm trees were fondant over floral wire, leaves were gumpaste. Surf boards were gumpaste attached to popsicle sticks. Tiki head totem pole was made from chocolate using a ice cube mold & then painted with airbush colors. Pineapple & ukulele was made from fondant as well. TFL! :-)

White cake with cream cheese filling iced in buttercream. "Sand" was brown sugar and graham crackers and "water" was blue piping gel over blue buttercream. Shells were chocolate and surfboard fin was fondant.

These cakes were 4 inch cakes for 2 pre-schoolers graduating and off to kindergarten. They wanted beach themed. It is buttercream cake with fondant decorations.

Made for my sister's baby shower. White cake with pina colada filling, covered with white chocolate, then fondant. Wave, baby, board, and flip flops made of gumpaste. Surfboard, flip flops and hibiscus flowers all hand cut. "Sand" made of graham crackers, sugar and brown sugar. Thanks for looking!

surfer cake topper is made of fondant. Cake is chocolat and lemon cake. Filling is cannoli. Waves are butter cream. Sand is pretzels ground in food prossesor.

For Crystals Beach theme surprise party. This was my first time making a cake of this nature and working with fondant. I've never taken any classes just watched a lot of videos. It was a lot of fun but boy did this cake test me! Lots of love and tears went into this cake... well not INTO lol. The cake was 3 layers of strawberry and chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting filling.

Buttercream iced 10 inch and 8 inch rounds. Everything is edible. Martini glass and flowers are made of gumpaste. All other details are made of fondant.

I love when couples pick a more non-traditional wedding cake! Gumpaste surf boards, flowers, palm leaves. The palm tree trunks are pretzel rods covered in gumpaste. Chocolate shells. I really had a lot of fun with this one! Coconut cake - tiki hut has chocolate ganache and coconut filling, middle tier has buttercream, with buttercream filling, and bottom tier is buttercream with coconut filling.

I made this for my neighbor's daughter turning 6. She had a surfing beach party, but my neighbor said she really wanted an under the sea cake also. On the top is the beach. The sides of the cake is under the sea. I used some molds and the rest was hand-made. The cupcakes had surfboards and hibiscus flowers on top. The sand is Nella wafers and brown sugar mixed. WASC cake and cupcakes with a bavarian cream filling and a White Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting. This cake took me 2 weeks to make! I really enjoyed making all of the animals! Thanks so much for looking!!!!

This cake is a stacked caked with a butter cream frosting. Cake has a white picket fence, surf boards, sea shells flip flops characters, pearls, clam and sand dollars all made from fondant. Star fish where made with candy molds. Cake was surrounded with and ocean and sand from brown sugar.
