This was a special request from a groom who loved Super Nintendo. In the actual game, these little mushrooms are the enemies, but a Goomba made of cake is quite the opposite... I just wanted to hug him :)

I really wanted to post this cake under disasters. It was my last attempt at working with MMF figures. My next try combined MMF and gumpaste, which is far better. MMF alone is just too heavy to stand up. DK is on the top with a flower pot and snap dragon thing.

My son had a super hero party for his 4th birthday. It didn't feature one super hero more than another, so I left the cake pretty basic

This was a supplement cake at my son's Super Hero birthday party. It turns out that we didn't need it, which is a shame because I liked it better than the main cake :)

My son's 6th Bday cake, he wanted Mario Cart. Fondant, MMF & regular. Buttercream grass. My 8yr DD helped by molding some of the extra figures & items (mushroom, block, squid).

My Pride & Joy!!!! 6 & 10 in square cakes. Once the cake was iced just to detail this cake took me 10 hours to finish! Cake is iced in b/c and pressed with a brick pattern press. Everything else is covered in brick pressed fondant.

This was actually the first of two cakes I accidently booked for the same day! The kids freaked out when they saw this, but oddly enough, the grown ups were even more excited! It was fun to make, and nostalgic for me!

My customer wanted a Nintendo/Mario cake based on how they looked when they first entered the market. This is a very small cake, made from a 2 cup capacity Pyrex bowl and 1/2 of the Wilton ball pan! It is all chocolate cake covered with vanilla butter cream icing than vanilla fondant. Mario is hand made from fondant/gum paste. (June, 2009)

This is my latest creation. My nephew is obsessed with the Mario Bros. It's a marble cake with buttercream icing. I did the airbrushing at work and made all the figurines by hand from Fondant. Thanks for looking!

This cake was for my nephews kindergarten graduation. He loves Monsters vs. Aliens so we raided his toy box one night for these toys for the cake. Funny thing is I think the adults were more excited about the cake than the kids!!

This was for a set of twins birthday party. It was a red carpet party. The picture frame is made from fondant so it is edible. The black carpet lights are made from fondant and painted silver in the middle to give the illusion of lights
