My son's 3rd birthday cake, as requested..."Mario and Luigi holding a star with a blue 3, 'cause blue is my favorite color." 2-layer 10" round white cakes iced in buttercream tiered with 2-layer 7" round chocolate cake iced in cream cheese icing all with fondant decoration. Handcrafted Mario and Luigi out of fondant with tylose. I'm SO proud of how this one turned out. Thanks for looking!

these were for a boy's birthday party. supposed to resemble the game super mario bros. thank you cc decorators for your ideas. each cupcake is iced and covered in fondant with all details cut out of fondant.

The mushroom is RKT and the bottom layer is 8 in round. Luigi spin on this one...sort of !! LOL!

Design straight out of a Wilton yearbook :) head is a 9" contour cake and ball is baked in an egg pan. All icing is fondant. Great for birthday or Super Bowl :)

I made this cake for my husband's birthday...he collects comic books! It is a square chocolate cake with one corner cut off and iced in buttercream. I did a piping gel transfer for the design.

My son wanted a Mario cake for his birthday. I used several cakes on this site as inspirations! Buttercream icing with fondant accents and figure. Mushroom made out of small rounds and half of the 3-D ball pan for the top.

Made for a friend's little boy's birthday. Frosted and filled with buttercream. Fondant accents. This was a challenge....Thanks to dreamer61352 for her inspiration. I spent more time researching pictures then doing the cake...LOL! I was clueless about Super Maro. I tried to keep it pretty simple and it still took me forever to decorate. TFL!!!

Hand-piped royal icing tiara painted with cotton candy pink pearl dust. Everything else is fondant. Plaque on middle tier was made by scanning a napkin, printing it as an edible image, and placing it on gumpaste, which was allowed to fully dry. It was adhered to the cake with royal icing. Everything else is fondant, including the cake board, with lots of super pearl! TFL!

This one is for my nephew who is turning 5. He first asked for Batman, then kept adding more guys....he specifically requested toys and I was happy to oblige. 11 X 15 chocolate with BC filling, white #5 cake made in plastic pan with strawberry BC filling. All BC frosting. Used fondant w/tylose for buildings, spider web, and bat symbol and candy clay for everything else. Figurines were a purchased set although I modified the Hulk a little and stuck him in a candy clay covered stryrofoam block.

This cake is a 10 inch strawberry, 3-6 inch square chocolate layers with ganache filling, the mushroom was carved from 2 6 inch rounds for the stem and 1/2 the ball pan. All covered with cream cheese frosting. All covered in fondant.

I made this for my sons 5th bday bowling party. mushroom is covered in mmf, first time doing this. Rest of cake is buttercream with fondant accents and Mario and Luigi are fondant.

square chocolate fudge cake..covered in ready made fondant. i cut out the s shape in cardboard then cut it out in fondant...added a small superman for a bit of fun!

I have to admit that when I was asked to make this cake I had no idea what Super Why was. But after a little internet research and watching a little TV I am an expert on this PBS kids show. The cake is Devil's Food with chocolate buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream icing and clouds. The book is RKT with fondant.

This is a totally edible Super Mario Cake, all models are hand made out of a 50/50 gumpaste fondant mix, and the green tube is RKT. The cake is a 9 inch round chocolate. Made for my brother in law who turned 18 on sunday, he is autistic and loves retro computer games, he loved it.
