This is an 11x15 cake decorated with BC and MMF. Mario and Luigi are FBCTs, I used MMF to create the birthday message and other characters. I really enjoyed making all the little decorations for this cake, I think this is my new favorite cake.

I made this cake for my son's 6th birthday. He came down the stairs and said this was his best birthday ever before the party and presents. Talk about one happy mamma ;)

This was my daughter's smash cake for her first birthday. She loves Super Why!. I had his entire body molded from fondant but the darn body cracked like crazy from the weight of his enormous head. I opted to go this way bymaking it seem like Super Why!was busting out of the cake holding a '1'.

This is a close up of one of the helmets. I used the Wilton Mini Ball cake pans, put two together with BC, covered in MMF and air-brushed color. The 'grills' were the hardest parts. I made a bunch of them - they kept breaking. (I'll try gumpaste next time.) The team logos are printed transfers. I put them on with a little BC - a bit messy, but it worked. Any ideas for putting transfers on fondant?

This is my first use of the Sugar Veil product. The web was pretty easy to make. My suggestion is to be consistently large with the striping. Sour cream vanilla confetti cake filled with strawberry/buttercream filling. BC icing on 10' and 4", Buildings are hershey bars. Sorry for the spike up his back, but the client provided a spiderman with no "backbone" (no pun intended). This was fun to do!

My nephew's bday came around and he never told me what he wanted, so at very last minute I didn't on SMB.
So here it is. I didn't have time to make any characters but he really loved it. :)

I made this for my friend's triplets, they all wanted a different theme for the party and instead of creating a caos cake trying to incorporate all 3 characters in one cake it was easier to make a individual cake for each one, they loved they had their own cake to cut!!! TFL.

I made 2 sets of these for my daughter to take to school for her birthday. They were so time consuming. All fondant. I am pretty happy with the results. I got the idea for these cupcakes from Hello Naomi on Flickr. Hers are way better, but this was my first time trying something like this. TFL!
