This cake was a disaster. The handle fell off and it was so heavy. It was all cake and carrot cake at that! Lesson learned

My first baby shower cake, and I am still learning! Made for my nail tech, who is having her 3rd baby girl in a few weeks. This cake was created as a surprise, so I didn't want to do anything too big. Gumpaste stroller topper (my first experience with gumpaste!), Fondant baby quilt, lavendar fondant with fondant flowers and butterflies. Fondant pearl border. White Chocolate Cake with blueberry filling and Vanilla BC. It was a huge hit.

OMG, this was difficult. The actual construction of the cake itself was pretty basic, but the handles and the awning were extremely difficult. I followed directions put up by sweetsbyl. However, I couldn't find 12 guage floral wire and tried using 16 guage instead. That did NOT work. Had to resort to cardboard for that. It ended up working out OK, but I think next time will be better

The colors were chocolate brown and light pink. Chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream and fondant accents. The baby buggy was made of gumpaste.

Modern baby carriage WASC cake with chocolate ganache filling and covered in fondant. The handle is wire and the 'legs' are straws but everything else is edible. Would love to take credit for the design but I copied from susanscakebabies and hope she is happy with it! (Thanks for the inspiration)

~ Made for my sister-in-law's baby shower, themed around the invitation. Cake: yellow cake with raspberry & bavarian cream fillings and buttercream crumb coat. Decorated: base = tan "sand" marshmallow fondant (MMF); bow and dots MMF (use gel colors); carriage = molded rice crispy treats covered in navy MMF & white MMF edging; baby = MMF, edible marker for eyes and flower sprinkle for pacifier, bonnet = mini flower cookie cutter cut-out ~

This was a sheet cake that was hand carved into a stroller, covered in sheets of painted fondant and pearls. Royal icing, etc. This was TAILOR MADE to the customers colors for the baby girl coming. They loved it :) It was all vanilla cake with coconut pecan filling YUM!

To make the "hood" I used a stainless steel bowl I had in kitchen with white chocolate.

NFSC, glace icing, fondant accents. I made this cookies for a babyshower and the 'Momma to be' loved them! I thank Susan (GeminiJR) for the fabulous icing recipe and her help with the 'peek a boo' cookies. Thank you Susan, you rock!! :)

Chocolate cake filled with strawberry cream, iced in buttercream....customer wanted blue/brown camo stroller cake. Stroller handle made from fondant brushed in silver luster dust. Wheels wrapped in black fondant. The little placard says the baby's name on it (kind of like an Eddie Bauer stroller tag, but not- lol!). Thanks for looking

This is a pink and white baptism cake request. I really enjoy making cake for babys. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and raspberry jam filling all covered with fondant. The baby carriage is also fondant.

All fondant with gumpaste pram. We had an organic theme for this shower because for the first time in a long time, Momm doesn't want to find out if it's a boy or girl. Wish the pram was a little cleaner, but happy with the first attempt.

On top of this 1/2 sheet cake is a RKT baby carriage covered in BC and fondant. The umbrella and the blanket are gumpaste. The wheels are gumpaste and black fondant. The football is chocolate fondant.The logos are edible images.
