This is a 9x3 Honey cake with cream cheese filling. Covered in fondant. This was a fun cake to make and I learned how tricky those stripes are!

I made this for a friend who turned 50... 5 feathers. Thanks for all the inspiration from CC and Sharon Zambito for the DvD on bows. The bottom layer was too short so I extended the stripes to the board. I think it worked.

Made to match the plates/napkins for the shower. Bottom tier: 10" square white cake w/strawberry filling. Top tier: 6" square chocolate cake w/bc filling. Both tiers frosted in BC with fondant accents & bow

This is an 8" and 6" cake, lemon and vanilla, all buttercream with fondant accents and bow. I tried to copy a bow I saw here on cc yesterday done by elvis (luv him :), but I didn't do very well. This was for my grandaughter who requested a pink and blue cake. It was a very rushed cake, since I didn't think I'd be able to do it, but turned out pretty cute I guess. The wired flowers were inserted into a straw.

Carved Butter Raisin cake, fondant embellishment and handpainted. A real lure was used so that the birthday boy could use it on his fishing excursions!

Its a 2 tiered vanilla butter cake with SMBC.Asked by my DH HS classmate to be made for her DH who served in IRAQ and survived enemy fire,he lost his right leg and she asked me to make a candle holder with prosthetic leg. I incorporated his troop flag and patch "Big Red 1",Army symbol and troop patch and a "Army guy wearing camo outfit" She also requested to put Purple heart and Bronze medal.I add the ID tags. She was teary eyed when she saw the cake and I felt grateful that I was able to say "Thank you" to her husband in my small way. I also add LED lights for effects. TFL.

Hand cut NFSC with RI made to my 2-1/2 year old grand-daughter's explicit instructions. "Cats with rainbow lines on she hair". She picked the colors and even the rug idea. I'll post the cat design in sketches and templates. Danielle and I thank you for looking.

The crowbar, lock, and gears are all made out of fondant. The wooden box is hand painted, the black and white cake striped in fondant. Of course, the entire thing it edible.

This cake was a 6" and 8" yellow cake with lime green buttercream frosting. The cake was then covered with MMF. The green bow is a 50/50 mix of MMF and gumpaste. I don't have any fondant alphabet cutouts that were funky enough, so I hand painted with lemon juice and black gel food coloring the name "Brittany". I was pleased with the outcome. I always forget how long it takes me to make the zebra stripes. I individually cut out each piece to fit it's surrounding pieces. It takes a while, but well worth it!!

this is cake is two books, 9x13 three layers each of red velvet and vanilla with cream cheese icing, covered in mmf, the hat is five 4inch rounds red velvet and vanilla. hopefully when we cut it it will look cute red and white striped! tfl, tara

This was ordered by the mom for whom I made the pink monkey tiered cake with a bow, for a baby shower...now its time for baby's first birthday! Mom wanted to make and set up her own stand, so I took this pic and then she took the cakes home and assembled it on her own on a matching decorated stand. She also added cupcake toppers at home, too, I think. She said she'd send me a finished pic. :-) The customer also designed the way she wanted the stuff on the wires to look. (Added finished pic now...she made the toppers and stand herself.)
