Chocolate cake with chocolate BC. Spooky house, tree, pumpkins and bones are made out of sugar paste. Spider webs are royal icing. Birthday boy turned 9 and just loved his Halloween cake so much that he didn't want to cut it or part with any of the decorations. Thanks for looking.

Oval cakes iced in buttercream with fondant decorated haunted house. This was for my son's 4th birthday party. He'd been BEGGING for a spooky house cake, but with a December birthday, I didn't think it was possible. Thanks goodness for Scooby!

My sons birthday cake. We had there party on Halloween, so I tried to make a spooky related cake. Sheet cake with the tree and house made of RCT. I didnt think to ice the RCT first, so thats why my MMF looks sloppy-it wouldnt stay on-DUH!

This was actually a birthday cake for a little boy. He wanted a "spooky
cake". My husband made the cake box, and my daughter painted it.
I would like to post the side and back views of this cake, but don't know
how to get multiple pics of the same cake on.

The Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch and brings toys to all the good girls and boys. I hope I don't get a rock!
The cake is covered with fondant with edible images mounted on fondant. The top pumpkin was created using a mini ball cake pan. I then carved the grooves of the pumpkin and covered it with fondant.

This Haunted House was made for the an elementary school Halloween Party for 150 kids. It is made with all buttercream frosting - both vanilla and chocolate and no fondant. The house has cookie shingles on the roof, fudge cookie stairs and front porch, ice cream cone turrets, chocolate tombstones, white chocolate ghosts, gummy bats and spiders, pumpkin candies, Oreo cookie dirt and jelly bean "rocks" for the retaining walls. Everything on the cake is edible and 100% yummy!

To look like the top of Frankenstiens head. used 4-9" cake layers, decorated with gummy eyeballs found in the halloween section at Walmart, used black icing in a spray can to have layers for hair, mini Reese's cups for the pegs on side of head. We had a birthday party in the middle of October.

This cake was inspired by one I saw online. Unfotunately I can't locate it again to give the original creator credit. If you've seen it please let me know. The ghosts are PEEPS everything else is fondant.
EDITED to add: I found the original cake. It was on the front page this morning. That cake was by frog80. You can see it here http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo-1155646.html .
