ohhhh, boy am I glad this one was finished.I did a Spiderman transfer for his cake bit it broke. All completely MY fault & could have been avoided, but none the less it happened. This Spiderman was free-handed from a picture out of his coloring book.I did it on a 12" Frnch vanilla cake. BC icing complete. I am sorry the picture is so dark. I need to try to lighten it up some. I would really like to do a filling next time other then BC, but not really sure what to put in there. Any & all pointers are welcome!

This was my 1st cupcake cake and 3rd FBCT. I was happy with it but don't think I like the cupcake cake as much. Should have used my icing tip.

This is a Spiderman cake I made for my son's 6th birthday. I needed more cake than the pan fed, so I tried to put it on a sheet cake. Turned out okay and the kids loved it. Last time I'll probably have the WHOLE class though! Thanks for looking!

This is the first time I've done this. It came from the Wilton Yearbook. Instead of using colorflow for the buildings, I used cookies. I colored the dough grey and cut out shapes. My son loved it!

This is a 1/2 sheet cake with a 6" Oval cake for the head. This cake was done for a 4 yr. old and the client asked us NOT to use too much black so we choice blue. The 6" cake is skewered on to the cake with rods in which we marked the spots for easy removal. The bottom layer which is the body is filled with vanilla mouse in a chocolate cake. The 6' cake is vanilla with just buttercream icing.

This is a 1/2 sheet triple chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache. The groom is a HUGE Spiderman fan, so his sister asked me to do a cake including Spiderman and this is what I came up with . I was able to find a small enough Spiderman figure that matched to the Barbie doll figure. The phrase says: "With this ring I thee web". I found a toy Spiderman ring and used it for the center. They LOVED IT! The bride threatened the groom that he better not show up with his Spiderman outfit underneath his tux!

This is the first cake I have made in years. The last cake I made was in grade 8, so I was a little rusty. I am sure it took me allot longer than most people. I decided to make a spiderman birthday cake for my son's 6th birthday. He loved it and I am not sure which one of us was more proud of it.

Thank you MAMACC for a great idea. I was asked to do a birthday cake for a friend's son who loves Spider-man. I thought that this cake would be perfect, plus I love a challenge. I changed Spidy to look like he's climbing up a building. I used a skyscraper picture and made a poster of it. Mounting the poster to the base board I covered both with wax paper so you can see the image thru the wax paper. Spidy is gold cake with BC frosting. I used wire for his shooting web and frosted it with white BC.

This was made for a little boy who loved both Spiderman and Hulk equally and wanted them both on the cake. This was my "plan B" design. I have to say it came out better than I was expecting. The cakes are a 10" round and two 8" rounds. This was a chocolate cake iced with crusting BC icing.
