I created this cake for a little boy's bday and he loved it. As you can see by the design of this cake, it's very easy to make and is also 3D. The spiderman on top of the cake was made out fondant but you can just get a spiderman toy and put it on top of the cake.

I'm fairly new to decorating and this is the first cake I've posted. (I only have internet at work so I use breaks and lunch to check out this site for advice and look at the cakes. Anyway, this is my version of the Spiderman cake. It's all cake. Used the sports ball pan and 4 inch rounds for the head. Thanks for looking.

This is a 1/4 sheet chocolate cake with buttercream. Spiderman was drawn on a frosting sheet and filled in with gels. Very tedious! a lot of webs! The buildings were free handed and filled in with gels, and the sky was airbrushed. Fun cake! but time consuming!

Another spiderman bust cake, only my nephew requested a venom cake which I guess is Spiderman's nemesis.....however I was not doing an all black cake since I don't own an airbrush and didn't want to have to use 20 jars of coloring, so I found a comic book cover where half the face was Spidey and half was venom so I settled on that, don't know yet if he liked it.....I'm sure he will though Thanks for looking! Oh it was just 3 cake mixes yellow, white with confetti, and chocolate shoulders and buttercream

Cake I did for my son's 3rd birthday. First time working with color flow (outside of the butterflies I did in Wilton II class) wish the windows came out better. I liked the way the cake came out though. Spiderman is a candle.

I made this cake for my nephew...he just loves spiderman. My sister had his bedroom done in a spiderman theme for his birthday...he wanted to keep the cake in his bedroom because it matched the curtains and comforter set. He had to be bribed to let us use the cake at the birthday party.

I made this cake for my son's bday last year. I planned on making the buildings from icing, but did not have time, so they are from cardboard. ;) He loved it. I didn't have my icing with me to write his name and age on side, so I had to us MIL's gel icing (which I HATE) but oh well. He still loved it.
