This was made from the Wilton Spiderman cake pan. Since the Spiderman cake pan was a smaller size, I made a web cake out of a 9" round cake pan to go along with it. B/C frosting.

This was a ridiculous cake. I had three hours to make it, including the chocolate transfer, and it looks terrible...still post the good with the bad, right?

My first cake! I made this for my little guy who is allergic to everything (wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, peanuts/nuts, etc). I free-handed the spider and the web. (Just started to learn to do this for my son.) The cupcakes were yummy!

These cookies were made using an egg cutter. The tops are covered in a thin layer of fondant that has been colored and airbrushed red to give the bold color. The eyes are done with Alice's Cookie Icing, and the webbing is hand painted. Honest comments welcome...I am not normally a cookie decorator and welcome suggestions! Thanks...glenda!

I did this last week. The mother wanted a spiderman but not the "usual" one. Ih have that pan and hate doing it. Anyway, this is what I decided to do. I used a small oval, carved the top of the head rounder. I did not level it, wanted it to have some dimension to the face (not flat). Not my best work, but the birthday boy and family loved it.

Spider-man's head is made from Rice Krispies, the rest is chocolate cake. He was a great learning experience, but I am pleased with the result and wanted to share.

I didn't like the way the original cake look, it was a little too plain. So I added some webbing. I'm so glad I did!! Luckily I found some batteries to put in the camera to take a picture before it was picked up. Customer said it was perfect and exactly what her son wanted. YAY!
