My cousins wedding cake I did for there at home reception party. His new wife wanted something fun and full of Bling. Top and bottom tier are chocolate cake, one with a mocha buttercream filling one with berries, middle tier is WASC with strawberry filling..all MMF with royal icing and none edible crystals. This was my first topsy turvey cake...I loved the way it turned out in the end and so did they.

Cake is about 16 Inches tall...3 10 Inch Rounds, 8 Inch, 6 (thin!), & rounded top from Fire King Custard Bowl. I carved and covered in fondant. The Bodice & Skirt is painted with Pearl Glaze. The bodice is covered in White Sugar Sprinkles. I also used Sugar Pearls on the bodice & neckline. Form is a styrofoam block and covered in chocolate fondant. Shoulders are freeform.

This is a display that I started out as me wanting to master piping! After doing one side, I decided to add a different, yet similar, design on each side of the hexagon. I am happy with everything except for the picture quality. I just can't get it to show off just how much this thing sparkles! TFL

8" chocolate fudge cake with chocolate cream filling, 6" WASC with raspberry filling. Buttercream frosting with sugar sparkles. Baby shoes are gumpaste and the flowers are fondant. Got the cake idea from Wilton and the shoe template from grannys3angels. This was fun to make. Everyone thought it was really pretty. TFL!

I absolutely loved making this cake. It was for a friends daughter, it was a combination of several occasions wrapped in one...High school graduation, birthday and going away for college. Nice huge party and she loved it!

I liked doing the first shoe so much, I made another! The leopard print was done by hand using Americolor markers in black. I made a mold for the heel then painted it with gum glue and sprinkled it with hologram silver dust.

For my 30th B-day I decided I wanted a cake that sparkled. Boy ,did I get it! This was a 8" Red Velvet cake and 6" Vanilla, iced in buttercream. With rhinestone banding 3 rows high, and a black fabric ribbon w/ a rhinestone buckle. On top were red roses and white carnations, wish they look more realistic but its a work in progress, white filler flowers and green leaves. I found an old crystal to fill in a spot I thought needed something and it tied in nicely I thought. All comments are appreciated! thanks for looking!!!

6,8,10 inch cakes-buttercream covered in fondant and then sugar sparkles. Real flowers. I am still learning the ropes of covering cakes with fondant, but I love doing it. Made them for a good friend of mine for their anniversary.

this cake was designed around my current favorite colour combo - red and teal. i was inspired by a number of fabulous cakes on CC and got to try some new techniques! the sugar is attached with piping gel on top of fondant. this was also my first time trying the WASC recipe and it was a complete success. look forward to using it as a future staple!
WASC cake, vanilla buttercream, fondant and sanding sugar. thanks for looking!

This is a fondant-covered dummy cake and my first attempt at a wedding cake. I made gum paste roses in 3 different sizes (some with gold sparkle accents) and dark green ivy leaves for the bouquet. I really need to practice "flower-arranging" - too much wire at the back and once completed = the spiraling bouquet looked better upside down! Of course that changed the whole look. I would really appreciate your comments and suggestions for improvements. Thanks :)

This is a 4 inch hand made gumpaste broach dried over a bowl to shape it to top the cake. I wish I could show how it sparkles like diamonds when the light hits. I am kind of pround of this cake because I've only done a few. I would love some feed back because I am not sure if it to much. Thanks You.

This is a white wedding cake with 2 hand made gumpaste broaches. The top broach is 4 inch in diameter and was dried over a bowl to give it the shape. The broach on the side is 5 inches in lenght. I wish the picture would show the sparkle of the broaches. When the light hites the broaches they sparkle like diamonds. I have only made a few cakes and I like the broaches but is it to much? Please leave me feed back. I would love to know what you think. Thanks!

This cake was done originally in white with bluebirds and a bow. My customer wanted more color, however, which I had neglected to write down and she wanted rhinestones for the child's name. I blew it on that note also....some days my brain turns to buttercream...
Anyway, I wanted her to be happy, so I had her bring it in and I added some color with the airbrush, ditched the bluebirds and the bow and added some rhinestones.
