It's been a while since I've decorated a cake, so I really actually enjoyed making this one! A friend requested a cake for her son's 1st birthday...and since his name is Noah -- what other theme would be better suited than "Noah's Ark"?! It was a chocolate 12 inch two layer cake filled with ganache, covered with MMF and graham crumbs. Accents were MMF and bc. I also made a smash cake for the celebrant.

This was for my nephew and a last minute request after my SIL saw my first cake I made for my DH's b-day. Baby Einsteins. This was my second cake I've made. It turned out better than I thought it would. My SIL only let Jack put his fingers into it and then she saved it - she said she kept going to the refrigerator to look at it. It was chocolate w/ BC. Inspiration from JoAnn

What a fun cake to make. It was a hard concept to adapt to cake. I had great inspiration from Shirley W. and Cakelady5. Thank you ladies! The eggs and ham are fondant, trees are royal on toothpicks, grumpy is done in chocolate transfer and the egg is all BC done with a half of a ball pan and just icing for the egg white part. Thanks for looking!

Two tier Birthday cake- 12 inch chocolate with extender #2, BC Dream and Michelle Foster's Fondant accents and Oreo BC Fill. Letters and 1 made with fondant/GP mix and dry dusted with LD. SMASH cake- 8 inch yellow cake with extender #1, same frostings, Raspberry BC filling. Balls are fondant, Candle is mixed fondant/GP and dusted with LD. Flame is made with Wilton red and yellow fondants. Thanks to so many people for your help and inspiration but mostly this time from tutugirl.

This cake was done for my cousins little girl's 1st birthday. Made to match the invitation. Made her a little smash cake that will have a candle that matches the invitation and paper goods. The little fairy is hand made.

Thanks to Cakemaven for all her help on this! She is such a good friend.

This is a simple little cake for my son's first birthday pictures. I wanted to keep it simple so that it won't take away from him. It is buttercream with fondant accents. This was my first try with fondant. I hope to take Wilton Course III soon. After this cake, I am excited to learn more about fondant. It was fun to work with. I am not thrilled with the border. Any tips on how I could improve the balls? Thanks for looking!

This was the smash cake I made for my son's 1st birthday. I ran out of meringue powder so my frosting was like goop. I also made 48 cupcakes to go with it, so I took one and placed it on top of the cake. He loved it.

DD's smash cake for her 2nd birthday. Cake is 5" chocolate fudge with FBCT Jojo....was my first time doing a FBCT that covered the whole top of a cake. Wish the pic turned out better but the flash picked up the wet look on the cake :(

4inch round chocolate cake. MMf bear , #1, balloon and baseball .. It was a hit with the baby, he had cake everywhere. It was so fun to watch.

4 inch round chocolate cake. The fairy, #1 and the banner are all MMF. Everything else is bc. The baby really enjoyed digging into it, it was really fun to watch, cake was everywhere. This matches the bigger cake and the invitations

I did this for a friend's daughter's first birthday. It was a surprise...and she loved it!! Its a half/half cake with the sports ball pan to make the matching ladybugs. I was nervous about the black staining her went she ate the smash cake but she cleaned up really well. :)

cake done for a little girl they call Izzy Bee. This was my interpretation of what she wanted. Rainbow chip with strawberry mousse filling - used the wondermold pan - it was the mom's request, not my favorite! Thanks for looking!

A smash cake with a difference, this is a hollow dome of chocolate filled with M&Ms, Maltesers,Marshmallows, snakes, lollies etc. The birthday child will smash it open to find a treasure of goodies! Accessories are MMF.
