Used a Wilton idea but revised to make enough for many more people - stars and baby were cookies.

Fondant covered and fondant cut-out letters and strips for trims. Each block is a 3 3 /4" cube. Cubes were created using chocolate cake layers (3 layers in each cube) with buttercream icing and fillings between layers.

Here is my rendition of a clothesline baby shower cake I've seen posted by many people on this site. The cake is iced smooth in buttercream with fondant decorations.

These were for a baby shower for the first grade teacher. Since kids had so much other food, I figured the smaller cupcakes were sufficient.

For this cake, I scanned the napkin that matched the baby shower decor, cropped, edited and added my own background and matching yellow border, with polka dots. Then printed on an edible image sheet.

Was intended to be a rattle, but got tired after baking a golf themed sheet cake the same day. Was french vanilla with raspberry filling and VERY tasty.

I made this cake for a friend's bridal shower. They were getting married on the beach, so I found it appropriate.

This was a cake I did for a friend at church. I did it pretty quick and it is not one of my better cakes, that's for sure! I do however like the overall look of the cake. The parents-to-be LOVED the little bear and wanted to save it in the freezer and give it to their daughter on her 1st b-day. I told them that I would bake her a fresh cake in a year instead. Thanks for looking!

I did this cake for a friend's baby shower. I learned a lot about fondant, especially to bring extra. And I learned not to place a cake in sunlight because by the time it came to serve it, the arm had fallen off. 3-D bear pan on top of a 1/2 sheet.

This is a clothesline cake I made for my sister-in-law's shower. I copied the clothesline off of her shower invitations. I am really happy with it, I hope she will be too!

I made this cake for a rubber stamping club meeting, but it could be used for anything. The flowers are royal, everything else is buttercream.

This is another cake that I did for a rubber stamping club meeting. I had a lot of fun with this cake. (Having two boys, I don't get to do many "girly" things.) The icing is buttercream and the flowers are royal.

UGH.....this really didnt come out like I wanted it to. I tried MMF and it was a horror!!! Ended up having to use regular fondant that I had at home (thank goodness) I got bulges and it wasnt as smooth as I really wanted it to be....but everyone seem to like it. I guess when you see the defects you feel eveyone else sees them also. The decorations (my favorite part of the cake) were all edible except for the airplane and blocks. If you have any suggestions (good or bad) please let me know! Thnx!

This cake was made for my SIL's friend at work. He and his wife are expecting a little girl. They (the "friends" at work) requested a baby with his head on it for the cake decoration. This is my first attempt at photo editing. I created the picture by cropping his head off of 1 picture and using it to replace the baby's head. I hope he has a sense of humor (...and the baby looks more like her MOM!)

This cake was fun to do. The animals are made of fondant as is the bow. The rest is buttercream. I had problems with the BC cracking on me as I didn't have enough support on the top tier. Also dry weather. I'm glad this is over. I started on the cake and the shower was cancelled at the last minute, but rescheduled again. Thank god for fondant and freezers! The inspiration of this cake was by ButterflyCakes with 2 diff cakes in the gallery. And the animals are from mother to be's nursery bedding.
