This cake was for a co-worker(male) who, along with his wife, adopted a little boy from Guatemala a few months ago. Our workgroup had a baby shower at work. The little boy, who is almost 1 yr old, attended and so did the Mother.

Top was chocolate cake with whipped ganache filling. Bottom was WASC with Raspberry creme filling. Not the typical cutsie baby shower cake, but every like it.

2nd cake like this. The customer wanted something more simple than my first one (in my pics) gotta admit, I like this one too. All buttercream except for the MMF bow.

I didnt get much direction and this was last minute so this is what i came up with. I think I like it, its different for sure. The white thing on top is a baby bottle I am not sure if you can tell by the angle, I should maybe get another shot.

I had fun with this cake, the idea for the cakecame from KristasCakes and the idea for the converse came from Maggiev777. I used the instructions from Stellastarchild to make the shoe but I ended up doing it without the shoe mold. I couldn't get the pieces to match up correctly when I started glueing. Because I didn't use the shoe mold the toe of the shoe isn't right, but I was still happy with the outcome. This was also my first bow. Thank you to everyone for their ideas

This cake was made for a baby shower. I made it a little longer so it would serve more people. I used 4- 8" pans for the back, double stacked side by side, and I used a 6 inch for the front and a 4 inch cut in half for the top of the front. I also carved a gap of cake for the top for the height. Crushed up chocolate cookies were used for the dirt in the bed. I used donuts for the wheels, I covered them with black fondant.

This was for a baby shower with a farm theme. WASC cake w/ buttercream. Tractor is RKT and all the animals are fondant. Piping gel tinted for the mud and pond. They are having a boy so a boy in a blue diaper is driving the tractor with his John Deere cap on. ;)

This was a yellow cake with no filling. I used Michelle Foster's fondant recipe. The cake covered in white fondant, with pale blue, green and yellow accents.

This cake was for a baby shower. They were going to decorate it themselves with some purchased items. It was also my first cake after watching Sugarshacks dvd. I need lots more practiced.

As per the customer's request, this baby shower cake was actually modeled after the top tier of a wedding cake. The customer later added white flowers to the top of the cake (still waiting for a pic of that!)
