Brownie cake with marbled white chocolate fondant, chocolate fondant border. Brownie cake bag with chocolate fondant "leather". Shoe made from gumpaste and recovered in fondant (got the colour all wrong, painting made it worse and didn't have time to start from scratch). Chocolate fondant letters from a mould. First attempt at bag and shoe. Enjoyed both, REALLY enjoyed doing the bag. Customer was nearly in tears (of joy) which is the ultimate seal of approval in the end hey!

I made this just for fun. As soon as I saw this picture online I had to make it into a cookie. It is just a regular sugar cookie with royal icing. I used a template to cut it out. I just love it.

This was a bear of a cake to make. As soon as I made the fondant slippers the rain started coming down! It has been raining since (I made them Thursday, it is now Tuesday). The buttercream of course would not crust like it should have so it is not nearly as smooth as I would like. I could go on and on, but I know as someone else said "we are our own worst critics" so I will stop there.

French Vanilla (my new favorite)Pink fondant ballet shoes, very light lavendar buttercream w/ white bc borders

I made this collection of chocolate shoes and cupcakes for a young lady who works with me in the bakery. All the shoes are made of chocolate melts. I wanted to celebrate something elses besides her now being legal to drink. I knew she loved shoes so I made her a collection that look good enough to eat. I modified the fondant/gumpaste shoe pattern for chocolate. The shoe boxes are made of fondant and air brushed. The cupcakes are gold with Bettercreme forsting. TEOS - Deliciously Comfortable

Betsy Johnson themed cake. The grad is obsessed with this fashion designer. Cake is covered in fondx. Air brushed leopard print. The lips and cherrys are fondx. Buttercream trim balls. I just used real bows (didn't have time to do edible one's). The shoe is gumpaste with sugar crystals for some bling.

Gumpaste shoe, based on a shoe from the collection of Betsy Johnson. It's not an exact replica. I just wanted the customer to know the theme of the cake. I used sugar crystals to give it a sparkley effect. I think it worked ok.

I made this cake for a friend's baby shower. The lid is fondant covered styrofoam, but I couldn't figue out for the life of me how to get the lid to stand up like other CCers have done with cakes with lids. If anyone out there knows, please clue me in:)

Not sure of anyone else experienced this same sort of problem, but I keep getting request from people to make the same cake designs over and over again. For me it gets extremely boring. Has anyone figured out a way to get deal with this issue?

I looked at all the flip flop cakes for this one!! Got some great help with my shells from a post by shipleyC and anoldhippy, Thanks! Each flip flop is cut from a 9x13, one white, one choc, with BC, MMF flowers, and straps. There is a texture in them but it is hard to see on the picture. Shells are WC and sand is crushed graham crackers. Thought they were a little plain but did them to match an invite! Customer was very happy and hopefully her 6 yr old DD will be too!

I had loads of fun doing this. My first attempt at doing a handbag cake. I was very pleased with it. It is this season Gancho Dior handbag. I did a joke behind the cake as the cost to buy the actual bag & shoes is over £1000, and did the money of £35 to show that she still had money left over. Money was printed onto icing sheet with edible inks. The birthday girl was happy with it, but did not want to cut it. Cake was chocolate vanilla marble cake with vanilla buttercream.
