Wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Lid is polystyrene. Everything else is edible. Chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache inside Thanks for looking and special thanks to 'mrsmudrash' for the inspiration.

Make-up bag, shoe and shoe box. I had to do this cake! I love shoes and I love the color combination of red, black and white. The gum paste shoe was harder than anticipated. This was my first attempt at mud cake and I really liked the texture. So easy to work with. I filled the cakes with a dark chocolate truffle filling, as per a recipe someone suggested on here. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Jimmy Choo shoe box is a dark chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling iced with chocolate buttercream and covered with fondant. Shoes were made out of fondant. Logos were printed on frosting sheet.

Pink gumpaste shoe (1st shoe I've made). Painted with silver dust. Shoe box - 4 layer sponge cake with vanilla buttercream. (I was given a fav shoe to replicate).

Shoe Box is french vanilla cake with butter cream frosting and butter cream homemade fondant covering. The cake has alternating layers of butter cream and chocolate ganuche filling. The end of the box reads Prada as does the shoe. The shoe is made from a homemade gum paste recipe.

This was a cake I did just to see if I could do it. I got the idea from a book called Confetti cakes. I had trouble with getting the box to have straight sharp edges. If anyone has any tips I would like to hear them. The shoe is made from gumpaste and painted with food coloring. I guess it is not bad for my first shoe box.

Christian Louboutin animal print pumps with red sole and shoe box. I did the shoes two days in advance and worked on each step individually,but that did not help anything becaus an hour before pickup the shoe broke then not too long after one broke, the second one broke.... Originally the shoe was to be displayed with the sole showing hence the slight indentations on the top of the box but I had to think fast and make it work! I salvaged the parts that had the animal print which I knew I had no time to hand paint over.

Originally, the birthday girl wanted a shoe on top, but changed her mind when she saw a bow that I made for another cake. But she wanted a Jimmy Choo, Louboutin and Channel label on each shoe box.

This is my first attempt at this type of cake. The shoes are a little sloppy. Hopefully it will come better next time. Renella is the name of my sister who designs high end couture wedding gowns. All covered in fondant; and shoes are handpainted.

Maple White Chocolate Cake filled w/ caramel mousse. Covered in white chocolate MMF. Lid is foam board covered w/ 50/50. Shoe & rose are gumpaste. The designs on the box were "drawn" w/ fondant tools & a stencil then painted w/ black food color mixed w/ vodka.

I made the purse out of rkt and the box is 9x13 cake cut in half and put together. Covered everything in fondant the side of the box is stenciled on.

Gumpaste shoe and shoebox cake. The shoe is actually purple but for some reason shows up blue. The top of the box is not edible. I made a template of the top of a shoe box and covered it in fondant.

1st shoe box and shoe!! Had so much fun aking this, they are easy to do. Made the shoe form a template on CC. The box is covered in fondant and I added other details with vellum paper. Named is after my middle name

Fun class I took at a local cake shop. We learned how to make a box with panels and stripped tissue paper. The shoes were formed on a high heel cake server made by Wild Eye Designs. The cake server was an easy form and fund to use. I love kitchen gadgets.
