I used a Elmo pan and made Zoe for my neice for her 1st birthday. I was not as happy as I had hoped with it but the kids loved it and I guess it is all that matters.

A one-year-old's first birthday with a Sesame Street Disco theme. Turned out very cute with Big Bird on the cupcake just for the birthday boy. All 1/2 fondant/ 1/2 gumpaste figures. The disco ball is a foam ball covered in fondant. The cake was iced in BC and then covered in fondant strips/ squares to show disco colors. TFL

My first time molding 3D characters. I put NO "bones" in the characters and they kept losing body parts! As luck would have it, it held together for my customer, but now I know...

This was my first time doing a FBCT. It turned out better than I expected. I still have a lot of practicing to do. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

All iced w/buttercream. I used a star tip and pulled it out a bit for more fuzzier hair. The rest was piped on.

My daughter is obsessed with Zoe, so I used the Elmo pan to rework it into a Zoe. The mouth was the only thing I wasn't crazy about, but I did it while looking at the actual doll and it matched pretty well what she actually looks like.

I did this one for my son's 2nd birthday. Elmo shifted a bit on the drive to the party (hence the red icing on the outer edges of elmo's head). My son and everyone loved Elmo :)

this was all buttercream icing except the fondant eyes and nose. I made elmo using the stand up bear pan. I added more cake to the side of his face to make it oval but I think I could have done without that. But over all it turned out cute. Thanks to all the CCers for the inspiration for this cake.

I made this for a friend and about an hour after I made it Elmo and Cookie Monster started falling apart. They were made from Rice Krispie treats and BC frosting. Didn't make any money on this one :( Oh well there is always next time...lol

I did this one in October for my youngest sons 1st birthday. Sesame street themed. The head is styrofoam, since we didn't need that much cake, and I don't think I could have gotten it to stand up anyways. All buttercream, with gummy worms coming out of the "can".

Used the Wilton Elmo pan and did additional cupcakes with crayon candles. Elmo is covered in star tip, and used my finger dipped in cornstarch to smooth the icing.
