NFSC covered in fondant, with royal icing border. On the screen is a blue fondant circle, with yellow royal icing. It is supposed to be the desktop icon for the computer game World of Warcraft. I was giving these cookies as Christmas presents to WoW addicts.

I went a little over board on the Royal icing butterflies! You couldn't even read the birthday girl's name on the cake. But she wanted butterflies and she got 'em! They turned out too heavy for the wires and drooped more then I wanted.

This is a dummy I made just for fun and like an experiment.Fondant color is very light sage and chocolate color scrolls.I wanted the scrolls like dark chocolate, but had no more wilton coloring gel.For the scrolls I used a mix of RI that I made and some piping gel from a recipe I wanted to try.It was a little thick but worked good,it makes perfect dots.Sorry about the bad piping. When you have a 4 yr old running around, everybody gets nervous :)

I made this for a friends birthday. It's a chocolate booby cake iced with buttercream, then partially covered with MMF and some royal icing accents.

First time making any kind of shaped cake. I'm happy with how it turned out but I'm sure with more practice I'll get much better!

Ivory buttercream with fondant decorations. (It isn't yellow, that's just my camera). Bottom tier is 12" and top tier is 8". The topper is a 5" styrofoam ball covered with fondant and then fondant flowers were attached with royal icing.

The client called this order in tonight (6 PM) for tomorrow so I quickly made this cake - not my best but it will do - I used some royal icing practice flowers I had on hand for emergencies and used leftover icing from another cake! Oh well, hope they like it. I could have been more creative with a bit more notice!

Tea pot cookies for my grandma's 90th birthday celebration- a high tea! It was my first try doing cookies with the royal icing. Very cool effect, I love it. The lavendar turned out to be a bit thick and didn't get smooth but the pink was perfect! The lavendar ones were done while holding a 9 month old teething baby at 2 in the morning so I'll be easy on myself this time!!

I made the flowers for this wedding cake with royal icing at home. In fact, I hoped I'd never see another pansy ever again. The cake tured out satisfactory, though. The craziest part, though, of doing such a big cake was what to do with it afterward! That's alot of cake!

This is a 2 layer 9x13 chocolate cake with butterscotch BC icing. It is a sculpted golf course (hills and lake depressions). There are 127 royal icing trees on this cake. I used brown sugar for the sand in the sand traps and everything welse is BC. I made this cake for my husband's 30th birthday. It was the second cake I ever decorated.
