Seashell wedding cake, with cream cheese icing. I didn't notice until I downloaded pics, but it was a bit lopsided- I used Wilton hidden pillars- they are wonderful! Everyone loved the flavors- fr. vanilla w/strawberry filling, chocolate with Bav. cream filling, carrot with cream cheese filling and lemon with lemon pudding filling. This site played a big part in my success- Thank you everyone!

I did this for a co-workers daughter - the camera didn't pick up the "Happy Birthday" - it was in a very light pink writing. I'm happy with my roses, I haven't made any since my first class in February.

This was my very first wedding cake a few years back. Much thanks to my sister for trusting me! The design is the same as the beading that was on her bodice. I used the edible dragees.

This is the anniversary cake I made for our 3 year anniversary. It's identical to the top tier of our wedding cake we had, but...I didn't really like our wedding cake, please note that I did not make our wedding cake; another lady did...anyway..that's another story, lol!

I made this cake for a cousin, they have been together since very young but decided to get married. She asked for something very simple in ivory color, I made french vanilla with amond icing and butter pecan with pecan icing. The Cowboy hat is the groom's cake, my first hat cake. Covered in fondant

I did this cake for my Nana's 85th B'day. It is a lemon cake (her fav.) with bc. Her favorite colors are purple and yellow. The pic makes the colors look brighter than then actually were. Was very rushed doing this cake. Had it frosted and decorated in about 1 hr. I was glad the basketweave was white on white..hid all the imperfections!

I made this cake for my little sisters wedding. I couldn't get the icing as smooth as I wanted, but she loved it anyhow. The top and bottom layers were lemon w/BC and the middle was red velvet. My mom and I placed the flowers too.

The restaurant smashed imy cake against the carrier--needless to say I was furious! Taught me to take my pics BEFORE serving the cake! Wilton soccer ball pan, star tipped in terracotta with black #5 outlines. Freehanded the NBA logo.

This is for chocolate lovers only! It was done for my boss' birthday!I did the chocolate swirls for a previous groom's cake (also in my photos) and really liked the way they looked, so I tried it on a smaller scale.

Four Layers of crazy wedding cake construction.
The bottom and top layers are red velvet with cream cheese icing/filling and the two middle layers are vanilla cake with buttercream icing/filling. The whole outside of the cake was covered in Marshmallow Fondant and buttercream decorations. I wouldn't say it's completely professional quality, but for my first time dealing with the fondant and working 46 hrs last week...I was happy :) and so were the guests!!!!

I made this for a friend. Her colors are pink and green and she likes daisies. I took the easy road and bought silk flowers. I tried and tried and tried, but for the life of me could not get that icing any smoother...argh! That Baker's Buttercream tastes yummy though...

I made this cake for a friend of my mom's. They were 12, 10, 8, and 6 inch layers all of different flavors and fillings. I also had to transport it an hour away to the wedding reception. The bride didn't even see the cake until she entered the reception and was thrilled at how it turned out.

I made this for a friend. She wanted a simple, all white, round wedding cake with dots and a bow on top. This was to serve 150+ (not counting the top tier). It was lemon cake with lemon filling.....all buttercream icing except for the MMF bow....Now for the horrible part.....I was just getting over the flu and I guess I blame my forgetfullness on that.....I didn't use dowel rods when stacking this.....and u guessed it, it started to lean back and the bottom tier started cracking after I left.....

Well this cake was interested, i have never had so many problems with a cake before. My icing wouldn't crust, i had air pockets UNDER my icing, and my round cake squished the bottom layer on one side over nigh (it was perfect when i decorated it in class) But since it was a practice cake I tried a lot of things that i hadn't had a chance to do before. And I would like to say I envy all of you who have the patience to do fondant roses. They wore me out!

At last, this is my first wedding cake. I wish to thank Karennayak for her generous support, after viewing her golden wedding cake I sent her my queries and she guided me through making this beautiful cake. Tuggy for sharing with me how to make the gelatine wings and Nati for her suggestions. Last but not the least I wish to thank my dear brother who gave me the opportunity to make the cake.

This is the first ever wedding cake that I made. It had chocolate, white, and yellow cake. It was frosted with bc and covered in mmf. It was sure a learning experience, but turned out well. Of course you always learn from the first. I can't wait for order number 2. If you can give any suggestions for improvement i would appreciate the input. Thanks for looking.
