Heart shaped cakes decorated with half of each tier decorated in white, and the other in purple. At the reception, a fountain was placed below the bottom tier. A problem I ran into was what flowers to use to keep a balance. I finally gave up and used pearls overflowing a china bowl.

This was my first attempt at a bc transfer, and I decided to try it out with this great Orange Crunch recipe. It turned okay, but I learned a lot from this one!

this I made for a lady last saturday. A carrotcake with walnuts and pineapple/orange cheesecream. Covered with fondant. Some of the decoration is made by pastilage. I got the order just two days before the delivery, so this was the best I could do in that short time.

This was a birthday/graduation cake. Fudge cake with Dawn's bc filling, icing and decorations. I really love the color I was able to achieve and I'm finally getting the hang of smoothing properly.

This cake i made for my brother's wedding last month in May. It was a buttercream with roses going all the way around each of them. It was a lot of work, but it worked out just fine.

This is a tres-leche cake for my hubby for valentines day. I found the idea at another cakepage as an idea for mothers day. The roses are made of sugar (i bought them like that) and I used the leave-tip for the greens. The cakeboard and Rosebox was also bought at that cakepage/onlinestore

This was my first attempt at Gumpaste roses. It's a full size rose that I used to lay across the top of a cake after I toughed the leaves up with a little colored dust (this photo is before the tough up).

This was the first wedding cake I've ever done. I just finished setting it up and I'm anxious for the big day tomorrow! As nerve racking as it was I'd definitely do it again!

There are royal icing roses all around the top of each cake (probably jsut under 200). The roses are white with 1/3 tinted purple and another 1/3 tinted yellow. There are tiny doves on the cake and the rose buds on the top and in the middle are silk. Thanks for looking!

The flowers are Wilton fondant, but the covering is MMF. I hated how the fondant turned out. I couldn't get it on there right to save my life. I liked doing the flowers though.

Well - it isn't all that great, but I don't think it's too bad considering it was my first attempt at roses!

This is my 3rd Course I cake. It was my first time doing roses, so it took me a bit to get the hang of them. Got lots of compliments! Marble cake.

I made this cake for all of the people helping my parents move into their new house. Top cake is double choc chunk with rasberry filling. Bottom cake is also double choc chunk but with vanilla filling. Both cakes are covered with BC icing and this is my first attempt at MMF roses.

This bride's colours were black and pink, so I did the cookies with tiny pink dots for rosebuds and tiny green leaves. I toyed with doing the bottom border in black, but went with matching pink in the end. I was too afraid it would look weird on a wedding cookie!

14", 10" and 6" tiers. Fresh roses and lavendar. We baked the cakes in NY, froze them and took them on the plane to ID where we decorated and assembled. It isn't perfect, but we had no major disasters and the bride(my niece) and groom were pleased.

This cake was done for my boyfriend's neice. She had been asking me for 3 weeks to make her a cake while she's here for the summer, so I made one in her favorite color. The cake is a white cake turned into a grape jello poke cake. She loved it :D

This was my first wedding cake. I'm an amateur decorator and had never taken a class or had any instruction--I just learned from books and the internet. I've done two wedding cakes since, but this one's still my favorite.
Covered in fondant with royal icing detail and gum paste flowers.

Butter cake with cherry filling and white cake with lemon curd. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. I thought it looked nice in person but the picture looks a little more sparse than I would have liked. I learned a lot from the experience like start earlier!
