My first wedding cake this year with red and white. I love red roses, I think they are so romantic! Filled with cherry cream and iced in white ganache and fondant. I delivered it at a high class venue which turned out to be the estate of the bride's parents. Funny since the bride and groom themselves live in a 1-bedroom apartment!

This was my first time piping on a cake and my first time with brush embroidery. I just free hand piped the roses. I figure if I can draw one, I can pipe one! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. There's close ups in other pics. The roses are handmade... but left it to the last minute (night before delivery), so they're a bit droopy as they literally dried on the cake, haha.

This was a cake I entered to the "Sweet Times in the Rockies" cake competition. I won 2nd place in my division for tiered cakes. I tried to use as many techniques as possible, gumpaste flowers, stencil, piping, fondant, etc. I LOVE this cake. It has my heart. And about 30 hours of my sweat and energy. Wish I would have done a little better in some areas, but give in a good look and let me know what you think :)

this is a fruit cake with personalized label, the mat is sugar paste and the flowers are petal paste! I cheated and bought the glasses!!

Made these to go in a cupcake tree. Am really pleased with how romantic and feminine they turned out. Although I had to sculpt about 100 roses for this project... Boy does my neck get tight after concentrating so hard for so long. HA! Still have to finish the 6" top cake but it will coordinate with the design of the cuppies.

Cake is iced and filled in all BC. The 3 bottom tiers are hearts the top is a round. On a clear plate with spiked pillars. Fake rose petals. TFL.

Made this one for a dear friend's birthday. 8" triple layer white chocolate durable cake with raspberry mouse and lime curd fillings. Frosted with buttercream. Handmade fondant/gumpaste roses and leaves.

This was for my Step Mom's 80th birthday celebration. It was a white chocolate cake, with cakes split to make 4 layers per tier, filled with lime curd and raspberry mousse, frosted with white chocolate buttercream and decorated with buttercream and fondant/gumpaste roses. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. The icing isn't shiny - I sprinkled the cake with Wilton's sparkly white "flakes." Thanks for looking!

Bride asked for white roses and blue and fuchsia accent flowers. She said she loves flowers so not to be afraid to add plenty. Topper was added at the venue.

This cake is for a young lady turning 29 who never had a birthdaycake because of allergies. Allergenfree cakes are my specialty, this one was free of milk, lactose, soy, egg, peanuts and more. A two layer cake covered in marzipan (choice of birthday girl). She wanted everything pink and purple (I used all kinds of shades), an Indian touch (I addes paisley and other Indian looking figures) and something romantic. For that last detail, I I inserted a beautiful rose (I think you call it Piony in English?). The little sort of vase (you can use it to f.e. put one rose in for like a wedding, don't know what it's called) was inserted into the top cake, filled halfway with water and securely closed. The rose seemed to bloom out of the cake (she picked the cake up one day before so the rose actually started to bloom (blossom) during the birthday itself) and I put a thin sheet of flower plastic between the marzipan decoration and the rose. Finally, I covered the flower with a little vase turned upside down, to give it a mysterious chrystal bowl effect. I told her she had to look into the crystal bowl and would see how her she was just starting to blossom in her life. She loved it! Personally I think this sort of theme could do very well on a wedding aswell. Thanx for looking!

On top of the volcano, squeeze a dallop of cool whip & on the very top add 3 strawberries dipped in chocolate. Once the cool whip and strawberries are added, this turns out to be a pretty cake.

This is our very first MMF coverd cake!! The idea was made up by my sister and I, since we are romantics who love cake... so what better way to be proposed to!!! It is a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling covered with MMF... all recipes I got from cake central!

bottom tier is carrot cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting, top two are chocolate fudge cake with chocolate fudge frosting, all covered and decorated with fondant. made with over 150 handmade fondant flowers which are all individually brushed with silver pearl dust (not clearly seen in photo).

The 1st engagement cake iv'e made, it was a nightmare getting the royal blue right as I didn't know you couldn't get royal blue colouring, I got there in the end though and the customer was delighted with it x

Here are some other flowers cupcakes. I love cupcakes with flowers, it is so romantic! Chocolate cake with raspberry jam inside. The white icing is a yummy Italian meringue and the pink icing is buttercream. All decorations are fondant.

Sugar cookies (recipe and directions from fancyflours.com) covered with Chocopan rolled fondant. Designs from fondant mats and imprinted rolling pins. Cut the heart shapes after pressing pattern into fondant rolled out onto silicone mat. Chill the fondant pieces on the mat in fridge for about 10 minutes for easy removal. Attach to cooled cookies with water or a little corn syrup.
