First cake I made with a fountain. I was a little nervous because I really didn't think those pillars were enough to hold it all up...but it did!

Do you ever take a cake 1 step too far and wish you hadn't? This cake looked so much cooler before I put the white '5's on the bottom red section. :( I do still like it, just wish I had stopped a little sooner! LOL

This cake was for someone who came home from the war in Iraq. The family wanted red, white and blue with a yellow ribbon. Thanks for everyones suggestions with this cake. I went with the one on the Wilton website, just my own spin with the bow and cake board.

It's actually a replica of what my best friends wedding cake would have looked like if I would have been able to do it, just smaller version for the rehearsal dinner.

This is a 1/2 sheet cake.....iced in White , then trimmed in RED....which was almost Impossible for me to get colored RED.... There are little white doves with the double gold wedding rings in all 4 corners and also between the 2 hearts. To get the heart outline you see on top... I just took my smaller heart cake pan, turned it upside down on top of my cake and pressed a little....and it left a perfect heart. I had let my white icing set and crust over first though!

I made this for my fiance's 21st birthday. He loves the Boston Red Sox. This was my first time ever working with Fondant. It was alot of work but really fun. The only problem i had was with the cakes. For some reason they didnt bake the right way, lol, but i still had lots of fun and everybody loved it!

Vanilla cake from scratch, vanilla syrup, all Buttercream.

Made for co-worker's son turning 8. I especially loved the colors. He mentioned super heroes and all that came to mind was "Captain America". I proposed the color pallette to him and he loved it as well.

I made this cake for a co-worker. The theme for her daughter's b-day was just balloons. She didn't want anything with balloons, just balloons. She said everyone loved this cake. Chocolate cake with fresh strawberries. B/C icing.

I made this cake for my friend Trish and her fiance Bruce a.k.a Moose. They actually haven't seen it yet as the reception is just starting! I was a nervous wreck delivering it as it was over 30 miles away on small county roads, over RR tracks and every stop had those grates on the road to slow you down! Came out ok though! Oh, it's whote chocolate cake with almond buttercream frosting. Thanks for looking, any comments are really appreciated!!

This was one of those cakes I scrapped off the border 3 times before throwing in the towel - I just couldn't get it right. Finally the cake won - I threw in the towel and hope for the best.

Eight inch marble cake with Chocolate BC. The Anthurium and leaf are 50/50 gumpaste and Satin Ice fondant. The shine is piping gel. The Split-leaf Philodendron is straight fondant and the curly cues are floral wire and wrap. Your critique would be greatly appreciated.

This turned out to be one of my Favorite cakes I've ever made! I put Alot of time and effort into it. The scroll work thru the middle was all hand piped and took me quite awhile to do. I ended up taking one of my plastic scrolls and using it to make the pattern all the way around each of the cake tiers. I had never made this design before so I was nervous. The Bride/Groom and Guests all LOVED it. Said it was the Prettiest Cake they'd about Ever seen! I was so HAPPY!!! If you have any questions Just email me

This was my son's wedding cake from last weekend. Modeled after Carmen Electra's wedding cake my new DIL saw in a magazine, it was (from top) 8" and 10" with the columns, and 12" stacked on 14", set on the silver cake plateau. Design was freehand swirls with fondant pearls placed at random and along border. 8 dozed fresh red roses finished off! Also made a deer head grooms cake and 44 mini cakes for rehearsal dinner...what a week!
