I was just trying out the chocolate wrap method. not as hard as I thought It would be,,especially if I do it all in one color, and not do stripes.

This is my first attempt at stacking cakes. I had fun and learned some things in the process. Also first time carving. Not as hard as I'd expected.

Would do this a little differently next time. Cake was built with three three-layer cakes. Looks good from far away! :)

My these sugar cookies for the 4th of July. Used Americolor to color the red and blue portions of the dough, then used my nesting star cookie cutters to cut them up. I had to firm up the cut out pieces in order to handle them and assemble them into the 3 colors. They took a little longer to do, but I really like the end result.

Made these for a party at a friends house. Half are plain, half have raspberry filling. The bag striping didn't quite work, but they came out okay. Thanks for looking.

I made this for a party my husband and I are invited to tomarrow. It's 11''x 15'' yellow cake with plain buttercream frosting. Used the star tip to decorate. I had a lot of fun, but it's hard to do when you have an 8 month old. :)

quick 4th of July mini cupcakes. I had tiny white chocolate stars made, so my dd luster dusted them and stuck one in each 1 (barely see them). They don't look the best with the rush job but they are festive little things. Happy 4th everybody!!!

This is for a cute little guy who is having his 'big one' on the 4th of July. I found some fun new glitter piping gel (by Wilton) and used that for the fireworks and writing. It really added a lot to the effect.

This was my first attempt at a doll cake, and she didn't turn out like I had hoped. I covered her in fondant last night and that was fine, but today when I went to do the details we had 90% humidity but not warm enough to turn on the A/C. So the MMF was really sticky and hard to work with. She is chocolate hazelnut cake with chocolate hazelnut icing and white chocolate MMF. I hope she tastes better than she looks! Thanks for looking!

This is the cake I did for my family picnic. Everyone but me loved it. First time I used WASC cake (cheesecake filling), also had dbl choc cake with choc baviarian filling, and yellow cake with rasp. filling. Was white choc. buttercream icing with fondant stars and fondant bow. Did not think bow would dry, but placed in oven twice, it lasted for party at least. White chocolate would not melt well, and left my icing very clumping, thus I could not smooth. Wish one cake would turn out the way I want.
