Thanks Rosiecakes!! Inspired by her original...Brownies with dowel support. Rabbit in RK. Luster dust over stars and rabbit features. The hat's rim was RK, but I misjudged the size and had to last minute make it over a styrofoam plate. I fixed the ears after I saw this pic ;). I hate working with my black fondant most of the time....

I'm not gonna lie...because of the 3D-ness of the bunny, this was the strangest thing to see cut into pieces! Almost couldn't eat it....but I did :)

This is a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The bunnies/carrots are gumpaste, the "dirt" is chocolate sprinkles and the "grass" is coconut colored green.

I demonstrated how to make these during the 2007 San Diego County Fair this year, I had 1 hour. Most of these were made per request from children in the audience. If you can make a ball out of fondant, you can make these! I got these ideas from polymer clay books!

Everything was going really well with this cake until I put the ears
on. I went outside for a bit and when I came back they had broken
off! I ended up just using some craft foam and stuffed them into those hollow plastic dowel rods. Even though I was a little disappointed about the ears, I really like this cake a lot. I saw many great ones like this posted on this site, but mainly I took inpiration from cakesbyallison, jenhos and another website called "the cake store" Thank you for looking!

This rabbit wants in to that garden! It's a tropical carrot cake with cream cheese icing and gumpaste decorations, although the bunny is polymer clay. The "dirt" should really be black, but I didn't think chocolate went with carrot cake, so it's ground up ginger snaps instead. There's no real rhyme or reason for the design, I just have always wanted to make one of the garden cakes so took this opportunity!

I made this for a friend.. He had a friend that had ran over a rabbit, and was just devastated by this. So, my wonderful friend thought this deserved a cake teasing his poor friend mercilessly, and I was volunteered to make it. Of course, back then, I only knew all things Wilton so it was inspired by one of their cakes, and changed a little to suit the need. (This was quite a few years ago) Luckily, his friend found it quite humorous and was not at all offended. :)

These are a few cookies I made for a baby shower with a "Peter Rabbit" theme. I used Penny's recipe for the cookie and Antonia74's for the icing, then hand painted the shading and details with a tiny paintbrush and watered down food coloring.

The roadkill bunny was made as a joke, I was sending these to my dad for his girlfriend's grandson's 1st birthday, the roadkill was as a joke because they are just as twisted as I am, I can't wait to hear the reaction when they open the package

I made this cake for my sister's shower... it was based off of her crib bedding, which had patches of pink and white stripes/dots/floral. Cake was WASC with raspberry filling, cake is iced in bc with fondant accents. I "cheated" on the tissue paper and the tiny pearls on the A, and the lid is a styrofoam dummy.

I love to do these every year and everyone loves them. I just took a round
cake and cut it in half after cooling, then folded it, iced it and put
coconut ontop.
