My friend was throwing a bridal shower using the color of a Tiffany Box as her theme. She wanted a "quilted" cake to match her swatch exactly- which thankfully it did! I would have loved to put some flowers or something on it, but my friend specifically said that she wanted just a quilted cake - no other decorations. The cake itself is yellow with bavarian cream filling, chocolate butter cream icing, and homemade fondant with edible pearls.

4", 6" and 8" square tiers, all French Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The hot pink fondant initially gave me fits, but with the help of my CC friends I think this turned out great.

8" covered in pink fondant. Quilted with pearls at intersections and pearls colored with pink luster dust on border. Tiara made from white chocolate with pearls colored with pink luster dust.

This was for my mother-in-law. The top in WASC with bumbleberry filling. The other two tiers are dummies. We served cake balls! Love them! Flavors of cake balls were lemon, chocolate, white and carrot. TFL

Made for a turtle themed baby shower, the cake was covered in fondant. Stars/Moon/Baby and Blanket made of gum paste, as well as the turtles. A stitched quilted pattern was put on the fondant, and fondant buttons attached, as well as fondant letters. Thanks to all Cake Decorators on CC for the inspiration!

I really liked how this cake came out, its one of those that looks better in person than in a photo...in the photo you can tell the stained glass is uneven and stuff but in person it has that 3D look like real stained glass. Anyway....its for a return customer. It was fun to do.

I made this cake for my daughter's Baptism. It was a hit everyone was in love with this cake! This was my first time making flowers. I know they are not perfect but they came out pretty good I think. The flowers are made of gumpaste the rest of the cake is Fondant.

Top is 6" r made to look like precious moments table cloth, middle 8" sq. with swirls and couples intials, bottom 14" contour shaped as a pillo,. Quilted with green beads.Iced with rolled b/c. Groom drew design and bride picked colors. This was so much fun to put togehter.

Three tiered wedding cake (bottom 2 are fake). I covered in rolled fondant and brushed with luster dust I mixed with vodka. Made the quilted design by hand and added edible beads to it.

8 in and 6 in round. Top tier is a dummie. Quilted effect on top and Zebra on the bottom. 8 year old girls birthday. 8 Zebra cupcakes went along with the cake too.

This birthday cake is for a couple celebrating their 60th and 65th birthdays. I was asked to create one cake to celebrate both. So, I did a stripe on the bottom to be slightly more masculine for his birthday and quilted the top with little flowers for her birthday. I decided to top it off with a bow and the daughter asked me to be sure and include their ages. It's a 4" almond cake with almond buttercream frosting and a 6" chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Decorations are fondant and gumpaste.

This cake was made for my high school graduation as I wanted something a little bit different and not the standard sheet cake and also something a little more my style. The bottom layer is decorated with ice blue fondant and chocolate brown scroll. The top layer (which is a little hard to see in the picture) is white fondant with a "pleated" or "quilted" look, with pearls. The flavor of the bottom layer was chocolate and vanilla and the top layer was vanilla with raspberry swirl filling. The name plaque at the top fell over and smudged a bit on the bottom rim, but everyone said they couldn't tell :) Enjoy and I hope you like the cake!

4-tier round wedding cake on custom-made cake stand. Black damask pattern on 6" and 12" tiers. Bottom tier quilted with black beads. 2nd tier decorated with black and green gems. Finished off with fresh green roses and a monogram.
