This is my first attempt at a purse. It didn't turn out quite the way I visualized it in my head, but the 12 year old who received it liked it. I used fondant flavored with cherry to cover it. The actual cake was white.

Here are the 2 together, much better pic since it doesn't show the imperfections as bad. This was for my best friend's bridal shower, she lives for shoes and purses. It was a Diva shower!

She wanted purses on her cake and hair stuff, like combs and brushes. I was glad to hear that. I finally got to use the comb and brush candy mold I bought a long time ago.

First attempt at a purse cake. This cake is rasberry cake with rasberry flavored mmf. It was standing up, but fell over during the night. I had to do some touch ups on it. The fondant was purple, but it faded in the light to a blue. The flowers are my first attempt at gumpaste.

Cake for one of my little girl's dancing buddies. She was having a "glamour girl" party at My Little Tea Party. The shoe gave me a little trouble getting it to hold it's shape. I learned a little about luster dust. I much prefer "dry dusting" to mixing it and "painting". White cake with strawberry filling. Covered in fondant with fondant and gumpaste accents.

This is my latest version of LV bag. This is the 4th one in this style. This was made for my Pastor. She loved it this is actually her 2nd time ordering. The 1st one I made for her (a gift) was the other version I have posted, but then she ordered on and I made this design. She was flawed and so was I when I first made this version. B/c frosted with fondant accents and LV symbol hand painted. Thanks for viewing

Here is my version of a LV purse. Coconut cake with chocolate frosting, covered in fondant. The LV is handpainted, I made a stamp from a potato and stamped the design on. Did not really have much time to do this, so I simplyfied it some.

This cake was made for a Birthday. It is covered in MMF flavored with mexican vanilla and cream boukay, which also gave it its ivory color (that was on purpose) then brushed with super pearl dust. Inside was a dense white cake with vanilla all butter buttercream frosting. The decorations were done in white royal icing and painted with luster dusts (Aztec Gold and Claret). I used a light green piping gel to look like peridot jewels (August's birthstone). The cord and tassels were made of gumpast

This was done for a friend of my daughters. It is covered in fondant. I tried my hand at quilting, not so good at it but the little flowers hide it well...lol The phone, shoes, and little purse are from patchwork cutters. I reallly need to work more with these buggers. They give me such a hard time. But then again all cake things do..lol

Thanks for looking.

My first fondant cake for my babygirl's 9th birthday with a "diva-licious" theme. White caked covered in BC and rolled fondant. Spots hand painted brown paste thinned with lemon juice, vodka was not available without a road trip (i hate living in a dry county!) all elements were fondant except I cheated with a pair of mardi gras beads for the pearls due to inavailability of pearl dust on short notice...

This is the first purse cake I have done. I couldn't find anything to put on it for a zipper so I just drew it on with gold icing. I am quite proud of this cake, hopefully the birthday girl will like it too.

The purse is yellow cake with dulce de leche filling and the shoebox is yellow cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries filling, chocolate MMF, I didn't really wanted to use any designer brand for the purse, so I used a rubber stamp with gold luster dust.
