This was made for my boss' daughter, she turned 10. I made the sides of the cake to look like ruffles on a dress with the little flowers to give it a little color. I used a foam decoration because it was a last minute cake and had no time to do a BCT or use rice paper.

Was inspired by the lavender cake by TamiAZ except this is done in lavender BC with lattice ribbon from Wal-Mart and silk roses. Had to travel 60 miles with this one. Was pleased with how it turned out but it could have been a tad darker.

THese cookie bouquets were centerpieces for the tables at the reception. Clay pot sprayed white with purple brushed on bottom and sittling on purple tulle. Cookies on long lollipop sticks and pot filled with white tulle and Hershey's Kisses scattered on table and a few in pot.

I made mini cakes for my coworkers for Halloween. These are 4" rounds, butter cake, 1 layer, torted and filled with pumpkin butter. Buttercream icing covered in fondant. Some turned out better than others. I think this was my 4th time working with fondant.

This was my first "paid cake!" I was so pleased with how it turned out. It's white cake with strawberry cream filling & crusting cream cheese icing. It was for my good friend's little girl's 3 year old princess party - she loved it! I also handmade the topper ("K" for Kelsey, the birthday girl). Thanks for looking!

This was for my second daughter's first birthday. She's our little princess and deserved a fairy castle! This was taken from a book I own and some pictures at the site.

Thanks for looking,
Suzanne

This was a cake I thought was not going to get made. I was rescued by CC's own Traci Wood who was kind enough to send me the edible image. Turned out great and the customer loved it!

This cake was one of the most stressful endeavors I have undertaken in a long time! A close friend asked me to make her daughter's first birthday cake. A 12" chocolate cake with white chocolate icing. I've never made a 12" cake nor made white chocolate icing. Anything that could go wrong, did go wrong! But in the end my friend loved the cake and her guests raved about it. I have to send a quick thanks to blittle6 for her white chocolate crusting BC recipe!

This is my second stacked cake. 8 & 10" layers, iced in buttercream. Fondant strips, bow and curly Qs. Buttercream polka dots and squiggles inspired by Food Network episode featuring Colleen. This is my first bow - big thanks to CC memeber "DelightfulSweetBea" for step-by-step instructions.

Can't believe I forgot to get pictures after the flowers were added. Ugh. 2 tiers of yellow with raspberry filling, 2 tiers of chocolate with vanilla cream filling. Buttercream frosting. This was for a Sweet 16 party

my Daughter was having her last ballet class and party before the Christmas break and she wanted little ballerinas. So I made about 24 of these for her class, and the teachers. grape flavored MMF yummy taste kinda like that bubble yum gum but not as strong, and mmf for everything. Just used my left overs from my recent cakes.

8" & 6" French Vanilla cakes filled with buttercream and raspberry preserves, iced in buttercream with fondant bow and silver dragess for accents. This cake was all about the 'bling'! Tiara and 'Happy Birthday' were from the dollar store.

These are cupcakes that go with the barbie cake. Vanilla cake with strawberry icing, strawberry cake with vanila icing. the crowns are chocolate they need more decoration on them but are too fragile to do it so this is how they will stay.

Well...this was an experience for me. I was running really short on time and well right after I got the top cake smooth I went to transfer it and well dropped it! I was not a happy camper at this point so I pretty much just fixed it best I could and iced the second one really fast and headed out the door to class. We did the lace to cover my mistakes. All in all I am happy with it after my fiasco.

Just a double layer french vanilla 6" round made for my good friend who just had her fourth child. Inscriptions says, "Robin whose worth is far above rubies!" a reference to Proverbs 31.

This is a last minute cake that I did for a girls who said she wanted a light purple icing with dark purple writing and a butterfly in the middle. I added the green butterfly sprinkles to give it some color. I thought it was cute.

Stepdaughter loves Bratz, so found some mini dolls that somewhat resembled the Bratz, and matched colors from the dolls to the cake. She loved it!

This actually wasn't a wedding cake, it was for our pastor and his wife's 50th wedding anniversary, but they ordered something that looked like a wedding cake. These are double layered, carrot, chocolate and white cakes iced with buttercream with artificial roses, lilacs and greenery.

This is an 11"x15" half vanilla half chocolate cake that was for a brother and sister. I wanted to make it look like to seperate cakes as much as possible. The toys are from DecoPac and I sprayed the colors on top with the Wilton can spray.

I saw something similar on here and decided to do it for a baby shower today. This cake took about 4 days to do and fed 100-120 people. The sheet cake on bottom is marble, the blocks are with chocolate or vanilla and it is iced with almond buttercream. The bear is a cake and the booties are white chocolate. The blocks either have a picture (bottle, booties, hat, onesie, bib, ball, heart, flower, or rattle) and the letter's of the babies name "Taylor". The front blocks say Welcome Taylor.
