I made this cake for my sons 2nd birthday. It was my first 3D cake, and my first to ever have to carve anything. I had several problems when making it The left ear broke in half the night before the party, (I taped it back together!) and then the right ear kept falling back so it is braced inside the foot! The board was not quite stable enough and a faint crack started showing behind the head, Over all I was pretty pleased! My son loved it and thats all that matters! Thanks to mellisa043 and miriel!

Body of beagle is a bread pan cut down to size. The top of the head is a cupcake - cup to shape. All other parts are small bunt cakes cut to shape. Rolled Buttercream is covering everything. Used Regular Buttercream for grass. Cake was for my Son's First Birthday! I also made a small one just for him.

This cake is done for a girl who chose not to know the sex of their baby.
I did the sleeping bear, mouse and puppy on top covered with quilted style blankets. A baby in the middle surrounded with Raspberries, strawberries and leaves. Cake is quilted on the side. A chocolate hazelnut with chocolate hazelnut ganache.

Thank you to mamacc, DianeLM, HollyPJ, and everyone with a puppy cake on this site! It was a big hit! Lots of little pieces of cake were added here and there, but mostly it was the two wondermolds (smaller for rump), a 6 in imbetween, two loaf cakes for back paws, a 6 in cake cut up for front paws, and a 6 in cake cut for the ears. The "scooby snacks" say "Happy birthday" but it's hard to read in the pic

My son's elementary mascot is a bulldog. I sent cupcakes to school for his birthday, and he wanted them to be bulldogs. I was so happy with these and the kids and staff flipped over them. All buttercream icing with the exception of the teeth which are fondant.
Thanks for looking.

This is a puppy cake I did for my daughter's 8th birthday. Thanks to the great tutorial on the CC website for all the help. I used the white almond sour cream wedding cake recipe found on this website and chocolate buttercream to ice it. The eyes are jellybeans, the nose is a milk dud and the tongue is a strawberry starburst.

BC icing with fondant ears, nose and collar. Used the lamb 3D pan as the base and them made modifications to the face and added legs and tail. I was inspired by the cake I found on CC by rydersmom.

Baby shower cake for alot of people! Theme was Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog tails. i incorporated the parents 'gifts' into the cake with piano keys (mother plays piano) and musical notes and a guitar ornament (dad plays guitar). The parents are christian and active church members and this shower was given by the church so i incorporated a cross 'log' with mushrooms, frog, snail and baby sleeping next to it. the bottom cake is sort of a cut tree trunk even though rectangle!

My daughter, a cat lover, asked for a Webkinz Beagle Cake this year. It is iced in buttercream. I used an airbrush. The frame is wood. The paws & tail are rice krispies and the ears are styrofoam.

Customer found this cake design online (so if its yours, feel free to claim it! She just sent me the photo) but instead of the cookie it showed on top, she wanted a little cake to look like her baby's favorite Gund puppy. My son has one of these too so I knew it well. Haha. She was thrilled with how it turned out. I wasn't big on the design at first but once I finished I actually thought it kind of cute. Made polka dot dog bone cookies too.

I made this cake for my nephew's first birthday. He loves dogs, so it was perfect. The dog dish was his "smash cake" and the dog food is cereal.

Made this for a 3 year olds birthday. All she wanted was a pink puppy cake. LOL The dog was so easy to do thanks to the great instructions I found here. There's things I'll do differently next time (like not so many dots), but I was happy with the outcome.

thanks to turtlemom for all her help and kind words! i didn't have the wonder mold (i've since found it!) so i used my mixing bowls. i chose to do it a little differently then others who've done this, by making the larger cake in the back and the smaller one as "blues" head, cause i wanted it to look like she was begging. i used two "mixing bowl" cakes, an 8 inch, and a 6 inch, along with about 6 or 7 cupcakes to frankenstein the body form.

this was for my daughters 4th birthday, christmas eve, but we celebrated it on new years eve with my inlaws in georgia. i had to freeze the cake so it would make the 9 hour journey intact, and we decided to celebrate early, so the fondant didn't fully get time to come back to normal, and that's the reason blue is so shiny. overall, i was very pleased with my first attempt at a dog, and the look on my daughters face was priceless!
