This is my version of HollyPJ's puppy cake. This was my first puppy cake, and I am pretty proud of it. The birthday girl loved it.

This is the first time I ever made a puppy dog cake, thanks to Merissa for her help. I think the frosting alone weighed 50 pounds! My niece loved it, in addition to the real puppy she got!

This cake was done for a baby shower whose mother-to-be chose a puppy theme for the nursery. Cake and crib are iced in buttercream. The sleeping pup, crib rails, toys and moon & star accents are fondant.

Me and my niece Kaitlyn made this cake together, its Chocolate fudge cake with,cream cheese icing,and tooties rolls for the eyes,nose and tongue...we added M&M's and chocolate chips in the cake mix...talk about one excited 11 year old little girl indeed..

A gal I know ordered a cake and wanted a dog and cat on it. A wonderful gal here on CC, Richash, found these sepately and combined them for me. It was really cute. I usually do a really thin FBCT of the figures only or the entire cake top. I'm not loving the "raised" look, but DH said it's all a matter of preference... next time I'll do the entire cake top as that's my preference. but the transfers themselves are pretty good.

This is my minipuppy cake made from Little Debbies cakes and frosted with whipped buttercream. I had fun doing this, and gave it to my mother-in-law for her birthday; she had a dog that looks like this minipup.

Birthday boy's mom ordered special plates and brought one for me to see if I could get the main point of the picture. I put little bones and doggie dishes around the outside of the cake too.

Swiss Chocolate cake buttercream filling and icing. Tootsie roll eyes and nose. I loved doing this cake. Thanks to justfrosting for the puppy cake tutorial!

This cake was made to match a party invitation. The dog and the yard are covered in buttercream. The hat and tiny birthday cake are candy melts, and the bone, blanket and curliques are fondant.

this cake was for a golf lover who was receiving a puppy for her birthday. My husband helped me with the molding....it was his idea to do the golf hat which is my favorite thing about this cake. Buttercream frosting with fondant accents.

WASC cake with almond buttercream-topped with white fondant. The pink and aqua polka dots were the colors of the girls party. She received a puppy as her big gift!!!!

I have wanted to do this design for a while.Well at least similar. I saw a toy last Christmas of a package with a pup ripping into it and I wanted to do one this Christmas. I am having my Grand Opening for my own shop this weekend and made some dummy cakes so decided now was the time to give it a try. Thanks to Rickash for the cool flower instructions. Hope you like

This was for my friend's daughter, who turned four and LOVES "doggies." Yellow cake with buttercream frosting. I built the snout up by using layers of stars. Unfortunately, I heard the snout didn't make it to the birthday party...Miss Bailey scooped it out and ate it when her mother wasn't looking!

Thanks to Merissa's tutorial on this cake, here is my first doggie cake attempt! Lemon cake with a cream cheese/lemon icing to hold the parts together, crusting BC on the outside. Tootsie rolls for the eyes and nose, fruit rollup for the tongue.
