This cake was a bridal shower cake for my sister-in-law. Her fiancee calls her "Princess" and so I decided to do a cake that reflects that special part of their relationship. The ribbon across the front actually reads "Ryan's Princess". The whole cake was vanilla cake and the bottom tier had a white chocolate raspberry ganache for filling. It was my first time to try a ganache and I loved the results!!!!

This Castle Wedding Cake Measures: 19-3/4" High x 13" Wide. It is heavier than all get out! LOL!! Once again, "Thanks Tuggy, for such great ideas". All decorations are edible, made of MMF and Butter Cream.

This was for a little girl at the daycare my daughter goes to. I wanted to do something special for her so this is what I came up with.
1/2 sheet choc cake with strawberry flavored b/c.
I used choc for the crown (which I was not to happy with) and for the star wand. The little princess pieces on the sides of the cake are rings. I put 10 because that is how many children at the daycare.
The little cake was supposed to be like a pedastal(sp?) and the princess candle will be placed on there upon arrival.

This is an all buttercream 4 tiered wedding cake. Each cake was a different flavor with a different filling. I did the cross hatch on the sides of all of the cakes and did corneli lace ont he tops. It was my very first wedding cake EVER! I am extremely proud of how it turned out...especially since the bride, whom I had never met prior to doing her cake...CALLED me from her honeymoon to tell me what a fabulous job I did and she thanked me for making her day so special!

It must be the summer of Princesses! This is a smaller version of my first castle cake (all my own design). This one was only a 10" base cake, but we added a 6" vegan cake for the little girl's cousin so she didn't feel left out. The vegan cake has charm pulls for every little person at the party as well as a fondant crown colored with lustre dust.

This is a cake I made for my daughter's 1st birthday which was a princess and the frog prince theme. The frog topper is from Tuggy's instructions and the cookie design from one of her posts. Mine aren't as pretty, but I am happy with them. The royal icing tiara was based on 1 of carrielynnfields sketches in the sketch gallery. The pillow was fondant covered cake and the rest was buttercream. I got ahead of myself and left out the support dowels in the base so there is a minor bulge I wasn't happy about.

This is a 1/2 sheet two layer white with chocolate filling cake. Iced in buttercream with fondant accents. Cinderella is a FBCT. My second attempt at btc. Parchment created a wave in middle. I guess I'll have to keep experimenting. I liked the way it came out otherwise. Birds are buttercream drwan on cake. Flowers are bc as well. Also put fondant jewels around sides. Dusted with pearl powder.

Practice Cake - just wanted to try a couple things. 1st time making a royal icing crown and also 1st attempt at using stencils and royal icing for designs on the side (bottom tier). Cake is covered in MMF and I used an impression mat on the top tier. Also my 1st time using impression mat on fondant (have only used it 1 other time and that was on BC). Definitely need more practice but, overall I was pretty happy with how this turned out.

The customer saw a similar cake on my website and gave me instructions on how she wanted hers decorated. Unfortunately, I totally misunderstood her and got it all wrong. But her daughter LOVED the cake anyway!

I made this today for my daughter's first birthday. It's my first tiered cake, so it's a little messy looking but being my first time I'm rather pleased with the results. :)

This was a wedding cake for 900 guests. 4' wide x 3' deep x 4' tall. The turrets on the corners are cut from plywood and iced with royal icing. Two layers are hatboxes iced in royal icing with pink velum paper over the windows and battery operated white xmas lights on the inside. The edible part is 12-9x13 layers, 3-10" round layers, 8-8" round layers, and 2-6" rounds. My #1 comment once it was set up and in place: "Never EVER Again!" (Now, 4 years later it doesn't seem as bad).

I got another order for the same princess design I did not too long ago. I had an extra tiara that I had made in case of breakage so I was able to use that! The bottom tier is 10" chocolate layer cake filled with raspberry cream and iced in pink buttercream. The top tier is 6" lemon cake filled with lemon curd and iced in pink butttercream. roses, borders and dots are buttercream. Hearts and tiara are royal painted with luster dust. The pearls are edible dragees. I just love making this cake!

Customer wanted all the princess's and Tinkerbell on the cake, in bright colors, with a ribbon, and a long birthday message! I managed to get it all on there. It came out better than I had expected. Iced in buttercream, fondant accents, edible image plaques.
